'Invalid characters in name' with asterisk-gui
Hi all!
Is there a way to asterisk-gui to allow underline (as such cpd_tom)
in Names? It allows to [di]enable alphanumeric, but not underline noway.
Why such restriction in asterisk-gui if even asterisk users.conf allows
(and works fine) it?
Thank you,
Tom Lobato

Underline only colnames in grid.table
Dear all,
I would like to underline only the colnames in a table as e.g.
grid.draw(tableGrob(head(iris, 10), name="test"))
I can imagine you should use grid.edit or so, bu I can't figure out how...
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks Robbert

help with RandomForest classwt option
Hello there,
I am working on an extremely unbalanced two class classification problems. I
wanna use "classwt" with "down sampling" together. By checking the rfNews()
in R, it looks that classwt is not working yet. Then I looked at the
software from Salford. I did not find the down sampling option. I am
wondering if you have any experience to deal with this problem. Do you

Thunderbird does not find the right folders :-(
Moika,
Overnight, I migrated my user-mails from uw-imap to dovecot-maildir. I used
the uw2dovecot.pl script to convert all mails and changed exim, too.
Receiving mails works fine allready, but nobody can access the usual
subscribed folders with thunderbird.
Via "subscriptions" I can find the converted folders in a folder called "_"
(underline).

what do you think about write.table(... qmethod = "excel")?
Last week one of our clients reported trouble with a csv file I
generated with write.table. He said that columns with quotes for
character variables were rejected by their data importer, which was
revised to match the way Microsoft Excel uses quotation marks in
character variables. I explained to them that quoted character
variables are virtuous and wise, of course, but they say Microsoft

Query about emphasis
Hello List,
Firstly, I was very impressed when I tried markdown 2.0 recently. Fantastic
work all!
I have a query about the treatment of emphasis.
I realise that the horse has bolted, and changes to currently supported
functionality are unlikely to attract support. However, there does seem (at
least in my tiny mind) to be a mis-match between the following stated goal

mydataframe$colname: using substring of colname may also match some column (PR#7496)
Full_Name: Marc Mamin
Version: 1.8, 2.0.0
OS: Windows & Linux
Submission from: (NULL) (217.17.202.254)
Using only the beginning of a column name will match it:

>df<-as.data.frame(aaa)
>names(df)
[1] "aaa"
>df$a
[1] 1 !!!!!!!!! (I expect df$a to be undefind)
>df$x

Compare with:
> df["aaa"]
aaa

Hi,
I'm trying to write a histogram to a pdf
pdf()
plot<-hist(c, xlim=c( 0.69, 0.84), ylim=c(0,100))
when I try to open the pdf I can't open it, there is always some

operation system? I had problems upgrading to 2.3 (problem
downloading packages) so I'm not sure an upgrade will work out with
me. I just want a

DIB_DirectDraw_BltFast
Hi,
There is this (freeware) game called Dink Smallwood, which I would like to
play and it almost works but not quite:
You walk around in this game in a view from above, but wine does not draw
the floor tiles, which is quite annoying.
So I printed out the debugging-manual and tried to figure out, what's
going on. There are two function calls, which I believe to have identified

Grep: show me this line and the next N lines?
Can grep show the matching lines and the next N lines after a match?
For instance, I have a config file wit hthe following text:
[Tag h1]
foreground=#2e5a03
underline=double
indent=0
weight=PANGO_WEIGHT_BOLD
scale=2.25
I would ideally grep on "[Tag h1]" and have grep display the match and
the next 5 lines so that I see all the content of the h1 section.
Can this be done?
Thanks!

Ferret 0.10.2 - Index#search_each() and :num_docs
Hi,
I seem to be having trouble getting more than 10 hits from
Index#search_each since upgrading to 0.10.2 (ie, this was working in
0.9.4). Maybe a bug, as the #search_each doesn''t seem to use the options
parameter any more ?
Thanks,
Neville

How to get BEEP BEEP BEEP when underline sends 486 Busy Here.
Hello There,
I would like to play a busy tone (ie BEEP BEEP BEEP) when the underline
carrier sends back 486 Busy Here. Looking at Dial parameters (
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+cmd+Dial), it mentioned
something about the r
parameter as not being very professional or something like that...
Then there was:
