Hi list, I got a strange problem here, i got 33 machines, all with Windows 2000. The thing is that "some of them connect" others don't, all with the exact same configuration. Hi, I have a samba server which functioned correctly. Only, since 2 weeks, the users have complained about slowness networks and the server is to 100% CPU on the initial process smbd. The smb service is not starting automatically. I can type service smb start at the prompt and it loads, and I can then connect, but its not loading automatically as it used to. Can someone point me in the right direction as what file I need to change to make it load at startup. Thanks! Liz
