Hello all, This is my first posting to this listserv, so be gentle:-) I have searched high and low for a resolution to my problem. I have Samba 2.0.6 running on two Alpha 1200 servers with Tru64 4.0F. The installations are nearly identical and the first server is doing great, but the second one is causing me problems. I am able to write to and read from the first server I installed Samba to

"Unexpected network error" copying large files NT->Linux?
Folks -- I've read the FAQ at samba.org/samba/docs/FAQ, I've searched the mailing list archives for "unexpected network error", I've searched Google for "samba unexpected network error", and been unable to find anything. If there's another source of information that I should check, I'd greatly appreciate a pointer. I'm trying to copy files to Samba

Hi I saw your post about bug in Samba 3.0.1: Quote: ????A lot of people have complained about unreliable connections to W2K and XP machines. The folowing patch solved the problems for us.
