I find in debug that the first param sent by the client was the login and I think it must be the machines name. I'm running Samba with LDAP on SuSE. Users had trouble logging in - finally I just ran db_recover & restarted ldap and samba. It looks like the LDAP database got corrupted somehow because samba couldn't get the LDAP data. Also I created accounts with smbldap-useradd -m -a -B 1 username.
