NATted phones transferring calls - BUG0003710
I made a call from 3254102 to 2944093. I then tried to do a transfer to 3254107. IP addresses have been changed to protect the innocent. It appears this related to bug 3710. It's unclear from the bug if the problem has been fixed or not. If it hasn't, then this seems pretty serious and would I guess affect any NAT-ted phones ability to transfer calls. Here's the REFER that the phone

Authlogic and Authlogic-OID Question
Hello,I was wondering if anyone was using these and if so, hopefully you could explain something to me. When User::create is called when using an open_id, User::create gets called twice and the second call clears out the session. Which LDAP OID for iphones
Hello, I'm new to LDAP. I've read Device class exists (oid 2.5.6.14) in rfc2256. I've heard a Pluggable Device sub-class (a device with a MAC address) also exists though I can't find its OID at the moment. 1. Does any standard class specifically defines IP Phones or SIP hardphones or ATAs or Trunk lines ? What's their OID ? 2. How does one can find by himself if such classes

SNMP and OID/MIB/MRTG
Hi all. I am having an issue and quite frankly would rather not spend the entire next two days learning the entire snmp program. I am hoping someone out there has used MRTG and SNMP to make it work. I have both installed. Single server, polling itself. Question 1- does snmpd have to run as a daemon, or only run once so I can get OID and MIBs from it? Question 2- does anyone know the command

Rails with postgres-oids?
Hello! Postgres supports oids which is a unique number for any row in a given database. There is the ''id'' already inside oids - wouldnt it be nice and handy to turn on some global environemt.rb or database.yaml magic-switch and rails uses the oids internally and transparently on the postgresql adapter, sparing people the need to create auto-increment-serial ids with

SeBackupPrivilege
We're using Samba 3.0.21a-1 on a CentOS 4.2 server (kernel 2.6.9-22.0.2.ELsmp); everything works more or less fine, it's functioning as the PDC with an OpenLDAP back end (setup essentially straight from the Idealx.org playbook), etc. We're trying to mount Windows shares to back them up, and getting "permission denied" errors when trying to read certain files from those

samba writes to disk each 5 minutes...
Hello, I am using samba on a NAS. I use hdparm to put my disk to standby. Unfortunatelle the disk wakes up appr. each 5 minutes and I get entries in /var/cache/samba and /var/log Is there a way to disable the cache and the logging? I did not find anything in the smb.conf. Thx in advance Kai
