Problems with Speex echo canceller in 1.1.10
I'm having trouble getting the echo canceller to work and I'm hoping some one can get me started in diagnosing what's going on. The symptoms I'm seeing are these: 1. If the NES is silence (i.e., no echo, no speech), the ec puts the FES back into the audio. 2. If the NES is similar to the FES (same speech words), the ec doesn't seem to remove the echo. 3. For case #2, I pushed

Problems with Speex echo canceller in 1.1.10
Jean-Marc, That was my first thought as well. However, I double checked everything and it wasn't reversed. I also reversed it to see what would happen. In that case, the NES came out unchanged. (This NES was the original FES.) Any other ideas? Also, do you know what algorithm is used? - Eric Scott > -----Original Message----- > From: Jean-Marc Valin

Problems with Speex echo canceller in 1.1.10
Jean-Marc, BTW, the problem #1 is not unique to the speex echo canceller. It has also occurred on other ec's I've tried, most recently the CANEC ec from dspalgorithms.com. - Eric Scott > -----Original Message----- > From: Eric Scott > Sent: Thursday, July 28, 2005 9:11 AM > To: 'Jean-Marc Valin' > Cc: speex-dev@xiph.org > Subject: RE: [Speex-dev] Problems

corrigendum on fixed effects and R2 in within models
Dear list, dear Cecilia and Daniel, sorry for coming in ten days late, I've been very busy lately so I came across this email only today. This is just to make some points clearer re: fixed effects and r2 in package 'plm', to both you and the list. In particular, to make you aware of some additional features. Please see my comments below, with '##'. Best, Giovanni

Problems with Speex echo canceller in 1.1.10
Eecho cancellation is used to eliminate the echo which mixed with near end speech, while it was occured by far end speech. It always work like this: Find the similar speech in near end speech and eliminate it. In case 1: Because the there is no echo in near end speech, and the EC module still works on it. So a inverse model is been calculated, and a inverse signal is produced. In this way ,

[LLVMdev] Is va_arg deprecated?
Hi David, I'm working on source to source transformations and instrumentation. A flag to disable 'va_arg' lowering in LLVM FEs will be very useful. Have you sent your modifications upstream to LLVM? If not, could you please share link to your public repository. Thanks, Sergey Yakoushkin On Mon, Jul 19, 2010 at 11:18 PM, David Meyer <pdox at google.com> wrote: > Neal, >

Samba WINS Server losing all elections against
Hello everybody. I've been trying for weeks to find a solution for my problem, but since I couldn't find anything, here I am. I manage a network of about 200 PCs, 90% windows XP and Vista, 10% linux. A samba server is located on the main server, acting as a WINS server, to manage the list of connected computers. However, when a resident computer is badly configured (ie no wins server
