Hi trish, i have postfix configured to listen on that ip... it's still not listening. see below: # Note: you need to stop/start Postfix when this parameter changes. # #inet_interfaces = all #inet_interfaces = $myhostname #inet_interfaces = $myhostname, localhost inet_interfaces = 172.30.1.65 # Enable IPv4, and IPv6 if supported inet_protocols = all -- Mike McKoy *404.590.7176*

ZFS core contributor nominations
The time has come to review the current Contributor and Core contributor grants for ZFS. Since all of the ZFS core contributors grants are set to expire on 02-24-2009 we need to renew the members that are still contributing at core contributor levels. We should also add some new members to both Contributor and Core contributor levels. First the current list of Core contributors: Bill

New to the list ... Looking for any recommendations inre: VMWare Vs. Xen
I'm new to the CentOS arena and I'm curious as to what virtualization products are preferred? The two main ones that I know of are Xen and VMWare. VMWare seems to be the most capable inre: number and size of vm's allowed. When looking at Xen it appears that since Citrix acquired them the free version is cripple-ware and is very restrictive. Thanks in advance for any information.

Auto-Create Directory
I have a samba server set so that each user in a windows 2003 active directory can have their own personal, private share. I would like to know how to set up Samba so that their directory is created automatically, rather than me creating 1300 directories on the linux server. I cannot use pam_mkhomedir.so because 'security = ads' in smb.conf and 'encryption = yes' must be

Specification Reuse to avoid Combinatorial Explosions
Hello, While reading Dan North''s BDD tutorial <http://dannorth.net/introducing-bdd>, I tried to implement his ATM example as spec stubs. When I first implemented it creating a context for each of his scenarios, I noticed that there is duplication and a combinatorial explosion of the specs. I attached the full files to this email. For brevity, I will use scenario 1 in the body of

Master - Slave Split DNS
Hi folks, I've already configured split DNS for internal-view and external-view. Also already configured the master - slave dns. But i've problem with external-view zone transfer. Based on the logs, the master notify to slave using the public ip, which is not accessible by master to transfering the zone over public ip. Is it possible to transfer zone over local ip for external-view ?

I Have Multiple Ips But Can Only Telnet to One Interface. Not the subinterface. How to Fix?
There must be something else keeping the instance of postfix from listening on that IP & port. When I set the config to localhost it only sends out using the main postfix instance and it uses the wrong IP to do so. I'm thinking something at the CENTOS level. I cannot get the port to open on 172.30.1.65 regardless of what I try. Again here is the config I have in /etc/postfix-immt/main.cf.
