According to the AWS announcement [2], "The Region supports all sizes of T2, M3, C3, R3, and I2 instances". (We'll be running the CentOS 7 HVM AMI going forward, but looks like none of

Note that this conflicts with #4732, which proposes that Puppet globs act more like shell globs. Please comment on the ticket or reply here, whichever you prefer. Thanks! r P.S. Heineken Face EU Fines for Curbing Rivalry
Heineken NV and Carlsberg A/S may be fined after the European Commission charged that they conspired to curb competition in the Dutch and Danish beer markets from 1993 to 1996. The European Union's antitrust regulator said evidence collected in raids two years ago showed the two brewers broke EU law by agreeing not to sell ``intensively'' in each other's territory. The companies

ESRI Shapefile for EU-25
Hi all, who knows how to get an ESRI Shapefile for the NUTS-2 Regions of the enlarged European Union? Particularly I want to draw maps of Germany, Poland, Czech Republik, Hungary and Austria. I've found Shapefiles for the US, Russia and other countries elsewhere in the web, but for Europe it seems really difficult. With many thanks for any hint Albrecht

Creating domain users in AD from Linux
Here are my findings. Keywords for Google and for those who, like me, did not find useful references: create user domain ldap active directory ad linux rpcclient net ads rpc account enable enabled login bind. Background: we're migrating users from AD to OpenLDAP; for a period the two have to coexist, because AD authenticates logins, OpenLDAP authenticates mail. My aim is to provide a single

Multipath TE
Hi, is there any way to route traffic between 2 ECMP routes dependent on the current utilization(packet loss/bandwidth)? For example using OSPF on 2 linux routers with ECMP gre tunnels between them. If the bandwidth on one tunnel starts to exceed a given value the "mechanism" will start sending traffice to the other interface. thx jason _______________________________________________

ASUS P4-TE
Hi all! I'm trying to install a suse-linux via network on a machine with a asus p4te-mainboard (BIOS-rev 1005). There is a known problem with some screwed up bios call that locks up the fdc which got "worked around" in recent kernel versions. I'm depending on the floppy because there is a file on it which is read during installation.
