I finally got it to work - and my ODROID-XU is now a passive member of the
LLVM builder society for the next week or so, until it has proven itself
(it monitors changes to the SVN repository and builds in my end without
bothering anyone at LLVM.org about its findings). I did write up a "short"
treatise on how to do it, in case anybody needs to do this sometime in the
future. I expect

I'll use a redirection to the new article then. Did you try out the
.htaccess thingy we talked about on LLVM.org? It should work, without any
webmaster's assistance.

Hi Renato,
My XU is on build 141 and there hasn't been a single problem yet. No
reboots, no crashes, and as far as I have observed no core dropouts (after
I did the cpu-freq trick you sent me). Perhaps I have a stable board or
perhaps it is because of its revision (rev. 0.3)? I will have to move it
sometime because it is somewhat noise once it begins to build. Do you know
if I can plug in

Samba 3.0.20 and UserManager
Hi all.
Just tried to upgrade our test PDC server from 3.0.14a to 3.0.20, and now
i've stumbled in to the following error.
Using the User Manager for Domains causes a "Procedure out of range" error.
Using DameWare NT Utilities causes the application to crash.
Tried both in WIN2000 and XP.
If I downgrade to 3.0.14a again everything is OK.
Server Manager works OK in both versions.

Managing users
Hi,
I'm struggling to manage users via the Nexus-tool on a Samba PDC. I am
unable to add users, although I can remove them and add and remove
groups. When I try to add a user, there is a message 'Procedure number
out of range' or something like that (I'm translating from Dutch).
I'm using the smb.conf of Samba by Example, chapter 4, from the CD. I
did the validation tests

error adding a user
Sorry for (I'm shure) my stupid question (and my bad english)...
If this is not the right place to post this kind of question forgive me
and please point me to the right mailinglist.
I've a Samba 3 that works with an openldap server as a sole domain controller.
I used to use the Microsoft usermanager.
After a general migration/upgrate I am not able to create new users anymore.
I can do

USRMGR.EXE doesn't work anymore.
I've upgraded my system at Samba 3.0.20 (SLES 8) bacause of some errors
on winbind and Windows 2003.
Now, usrmgr.exe doesn't work anymore.
It reports: ?procedure number is out of range - Do you want to
administrate another domain??
USRMGR has been working for 3 years; I've made all upgrades on Windows
2000, but the results it's the same.
Any Idea?

Surprising/Unexpected result after deleting and re-adding a user on our Samba domain
I don't want to call this a security problem. Since it isn't a code
exploit, but, many people might have this problem.
The other day a user was removed from our SLES samba-3.0.28-0.6 domain
due to inactivity, but he still needed his account, so I recreated it. I
didn't try to restore the LDAP data, so he got a new SID, etc.
I was amazed to find that once his userid was created,

Ldap and "domain admin group"
Hi,
I have tried to add a user (not a group) to "domain admin group" in
smb.conf with no success. If i use the usermanager an check the
Administrators group on the local machine there are two members,
Administrator and DOMAIN\unix_group.2147483404 and the user does NOT
get administrative priviliges on the local machine. If I add the
user to the Administrators group on the local machine

Terminal Server entries in SambaPDC
Hello,
is it possible to modify Terminal Server entries like 'Terminal Server
Profile Path' and 'Terminal Server Home Directory' with 'pdbedit'? In
case of 'yes', idd like to know the syntax. In case of 'no', can it be
done otherwise (except for the usermanager in Windows)?
Thanks in advance,
