guest A from virbr0 can talk to guest B in virbr1 but not vice versa
Hello, I came across an interesting problem in my home lab a few weeks ago as I'm prepping for my RHCE exam using Michael Jang study guide. I've been at this for days now, and I still can't wrap my head around how two or more virtual networks in default NAT configuration are even allowed to communicate with each other despite what the libvirt documentation said. Here's the

Indexing problem 10.9/10.10
Sorry if this is a repost- I wasn''t sure if the www.ruby-forum.com list works for postings. I''ve been having trouble with indexing a large amount of documents(2.4M). Essentially, I have one process that is following the tutorial dumping documents to an index stored on the file system. If I open the index with another process, and run the size() method it is stuck at a number

Printers inaccesible
Hello; I have a strange situation. About a year ago we upgraded to samba-3.0.10 from samba-2.28a and joined the samba server to an AD domain as a member server. The migration went smooth. Everything fell in place just right -- until a few weeks ago that is. A few weeks ago we aquired a new plotter, and while setting it up to be used, we encountered the first problem. We were not able

Swap memory: I can't reconcile this stuff.
I need to look more into it, but before I start the long and arduous "googling my life away" process, I figured someone might know the answer. I've read the man pages several times and they didn't change! :-( As normal, while looking at one thing, something else bites my butt. I tuned on the swap field in top and sort on it. Here's an edited snippet of the results. Mem:

High CPU Load samba 4.1.12 possibly because of Notify Request problem
Hi List, I recently upgraded one of our high-volume SMB servers from samba 3.x to samba 4.1.12 (also changing the OS). Now I have a strange problem. The CPU load on the server is very high, processes that are causing it are nslcd or since I changed to it sssd and the smbd processes themselves. ? Top looks like this: --------------------------------- PID USER????? PR? NI? VIRT? RES? SHR S

means over factors in mlm terms
I'm trying to write a function to find the means over factors of the responses in a mlm (something I would do easily in SAS with PROC SUMMARY). The not-working stub of a function to do what I want is below, and my problem is that I don't know how to call aggregate (or some other function) in the context of terms in a linear model extracted from a lm/mlm object. means.mlm <-

Add support for in-process profile merging in profile-runtime
Hi David, This is wonderful data and demonstrates the viability of this feature. I think this has alleviated the concerns regarding file locking. As far as the implementation of the feature, I think we will probably want the following incremental steps: a) implement the core merging logic and add to buffer API a primitive for merging two buffers b) implement the file system glue to extend this

[LLVMdev] SUBREG instructions and mayLoad/mayStore/etc.
The new SUBREG target-independent instructions aren't getting mayLoad/mayStore flags set correctly. For example, in the generated X86GenInstrInfo.inc file, there is only one entry for INSERT_SUBREG: { 5, 4, 1, 0, "INSERT_SUBREG", 0, 0, NULL, NULL, OperandInfo107 }, // Inst #5 = INSERT_SUBREG THe sixth field is zero, which means it doesn't have the the
