python bindings api
I'm trying to understand the python binding api in the samba-3.0alpha24
snapshot. In trying to get the security descriptor of a file, I have the
following bit of code:
from samba import smb
creds = {...} # domain,username,password
cnn = smb.connect("svr1")
cnn.session_request("svr1")
cnn.negprot()
cnn.session_setup(creds)
cnn.tconx("c$")

How to do a simple directory listing
I'm working on an embedded system that will communicate with a Samba server, and I'm wondering if there's a way to do a simple directory listing. I used Wireshark to see what my Win2K computer does, and I see it's using FIND_FIRST2. This is fine, probably acceptable, but Samba returns a lot of information I do not need, such as file creation/access times. I just need filenames,

error -13 with smbopen
Using linux on both server and client.
I can run smbmount and all seems ok. But, when I try to use kfm to browse a
share, I get the following messages thousands of times in /var/log/messages
and things more or less hang up. I have to telinit 1 to get control of my
client machine.

It’s the same input OVA, but using the latest libguestfs release.
Updated log attached (sorry; thought I had the necessary flags enabled).

CTI/TAPI
Hi
I want to connect a Windows machine over TAPI with the Asterisk PBX.
So is it possible to connect the Windows machine directly to Asterisk
(Zaptel card)?
Thanks

Samba 3.0.4 and DOS 6.2.2
Hi,
I have a problem with Samba 3.0.4 and DOS 6.2.2.
Our clientinstallation works with PXE. This setup connects the samba-server
with a DOS 6.2.2 batch-script, which attempts to copy a text-file from the
client to the installation-share.
I have interrupted the script and attempted to do the copy manually.

other bugs (such as VxFS quota support). Please test and
report back your experience.
There have been some updates to the Mandrake packaging
thanks to Buchan. We are not building RPMS or *debs
for this pre-release.

Roaming profiles in domain level
Hi Everyone,
Does anybody use roaming profiles in domain level?
I'm looking for helps for setting up Samba as a NT4 domain member to
support roaming profiles for sharing during domain logon of Windows
clients. I ran into the problems. log files couldn't show specified
messages, except for BUFFER_TOO_SMALL.

copy d:\bugs.ps \\ouessant\lexmark
after having deleted all the samba log files and restarted the SMBd daemon from the SWAT Web interface.
This leads to the INTERNAL ERROR, see samba.oulx
Now, to locate the problem, I tried the same kind of command on the same file, bugs.ps, but using the SMBCLIENT application from the Linux server itself, without changing anything, nor restarting the SMBd
