For example, why dont i see anything at server DC1 ( server and workgroup ) but i see that on the member server. ? The networks had 2 DC's? I believe you are hitting multiple things. 1. a bug in smblcient involving that kerberos cache. I seen something passing by on this. 2. krb5.conf has to much in it, just not needed. 3. faulty smb.conf. Its incomplete. Running smbclient 2.2.0-alpha2 on Redhat Linux 7.0 I don't have a fully installed samba suite with full setup and really only use smbclient occasionally like an ftp client. hi all, i'm sending some messages via "smbclient -M <user>" from my solaris-system to my windows-pc and this fails now since i installed 3.0.12 (it also does with 3.0.13). comparing the debug-output of 3.0.11 and 3.0.12 shows that it now tries to open a connection to port 445 instead of 139! why has this changed? thanks a lot, christian
