ADS and trusted domains=no
Hello,
we have a problem with the same userid's in different domains.
we have to set the option "allow trusted domains = No" because winbind seens
not beable to browse the
hole AD (30 Domains over 20000 users).
So everything is working fine like kerberos, net commands,....
Ticket name is [user1@DomA.net]

Hi
I've got problems getting things to work here.. The setup:
AD: W2008R1
client: Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid alpha2), with samba 3.4.3, MIT 1.7
I get an error when joining the domain, and when trying to kinit using the
machine principal with any other name than HOST$ (and that worked only
after forcing the crypto to des-cbc-crc):
nexus6 etc # net ads join -W ORG.AALTO.FI -U wa.aaltonen

I have a Windows 2008 active directory domain controller. It is also

Cyrus IMAP crashes after reading /etc/krb5.conf
Hello!
I'm trying to configure a freshly built mail/cyrus-imapd22 to work and
authenticate accounts -- Kerberos and plain text.
The GSSAPI authentication works already. After doing kinit, I can do ``imtest
-m GSSAPI hostname'' and it succeeds.
Now I'm trying to login with plain text (over SSL). Cyrus' imapd keeps
crashing from SIGBUS. According to ktrace, this happens

Samba 3.0 AD usage problems
Dear all,
I downloaded samba3.0-alpha21 and followed each step in "ADS-HOWTO.txt".
But mapping a network directory from a Windows client failed (step 4:
Test your server setup).
(Succeeded in other steps.... Including step 5)
Only local users in the samba server can access the share folder.
(Please refer to the smb.conf listed below...)
And "#kadmin -p administrator" fails

So, yesterday I made a second last attempt to solve the problem before
my boss forces me to install Windows2003 since it works out of the box.
The scenario is that I'm trying to use Samba (Suse 10) as a fileserver
