I restart the winbind service, and all users can access to the share as usually... But I would like to understand why this issue occured. Trust relationship failed...
I'm hoping someone can give me a hand in figuring out this problem, I have seen several other similar problems in searching, but nothing that exactly matches what I am seeing here. I have recently migrated a client from a Samba server running 2.2.7 (Redhat 9) to 3.0.2 (Fedora 1). The samba installation is running as a PDC for 5 Win XP workstations and was working perfectly prior to the

NT_LOGON_FAILURE setting up a Linux BDC
Hi, We're trying to set up a Red Hat 9 box as a BDC for a domain, the PDC for that domain is another RH9 machine. To do it we're using samba 2.2.7a and openLDAP 2.0.7 in both machines. We've followed the instructions from the Samba-PDC-Howto and Samba-BDC-Howto from the samba.org. The PDC works fine but when I try to list the shares of the BDC using my user I get a NT_LOGON_FAILURE

Some not all of my Windows 2000 workstations will not let any user login to the domain. Says username or password is incorrect. If you create a local user account on the workstation and login as that user you can get to all shares and there are no problems. I also have a problem with

Hi, Two days ago, I tried to turned my samba server, which worked perfectly into a PDC but despite of all my efforts, skimming thru the docs, mailing lists, hanging on #samba, I've never been able to logon to the new domain from the WinXP clients. Authentication is OK, but then access to the share is denied. Here's part of the log: [2006/09/28 19:03:36, 2]
