sendmail + plain auth
I'm probably missing something obvious, but I can get sendmail to give me AUTH PLAIN and LOGIN options. What I have is fairly standard configuration. The relevant part of sendmail.mc looks something like this: define(`confCACERT_PATH',`/etc/ssl/certs') define(`confCACERT',`/etc/ssl/ca-bundle.crt') define(`confSERVER_CERT',`/etc/ssl/smtp.crt')

smbmount and PCShare [Helios]
I tried to mount a PCShare file system with smbmount and was surprised to see that there is a problem while writing files to the mounted file system. I can read everything and move things an make directories within the shared file system. But if I try to copy a file from the local disk (LINUX SuSE 8.1) to the shared file system I get an I/O error. I suppose that this is not a permission

In fact I alraedy saw it but I'm not too confident in my VB knowledge, so I didn't use that script, prefering rely on Samba command and shell scripts to work around issues. You spoke about SOA record which wasn't changed, same here. There is another DNS record I had to change: _ldap._tcp.pdc._msdcs.samba.domain.tld. I spoke about removing

Dovecot features
Hi, We would like to switch from courier-imap to dovecot. I have installed dovecot on a machine running FreeBSD 6.3 and now testing it. My questions are below: 1. Can I configure dovecot to delete all files that are older, say 10 days, from defined mail boxes (for example Trash or Spam). 2. After I access mail box (using web mail squirrel imap) all emails moved from 'new' directory
