Plans for BUG 2170 (phantom jobs in queue listing on Windows clients)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Due to the varied responses that we received with the 'phantom jobs
in the windows print queue listing' bug, I'm encouraging people
to test 3.0.11pre2 and let me know if you still see the bug after
ensuring that the $(lockdir)/printing/*tdb files have been removed.
Thanks.

winbind lookup errors
Hello Samba folks,
I have recently begun seeing some disturbing behavior from winbind.
Winbind will fail to look up users and groups. Examples:
The machine is configured to use winbind as a nss module.
"getent passwd <username>" will yield no results.
"wbinfo -n <username>" will yield "Could not lookup name <username>"
"wbinfo -g"

3.0.x and AIX 5.3
As of AIX 5.3 sys/var.h is loaded in sys/proc.h & sys/space.h which are
loaded through a rather lengthy debacle of nested includes. AIX 5.2 does
not have this problem.
At any rate the result when using gcc 3.3 and vac 6.x:
Compiling web/cgi.c
web/cgi.c:33: error: redefinition of `struct var'
web/cgi.c: In function `cgi_load_variables':

mount.cifs and sec=krb5
Hello fellow Samba folks,
I am attempting to mount a cifs share on a RHEL 5 box using
mount.cifs. The server is another RHEL 5 box. Both boxes are joined
to the same Kerberos realm (AD).
I kinit to get my Kerberos tickets.
This is the mount command I'm using:
mount.cifs //rhel5.server.iastate.edu/benvon ./mnt -o
user=benvon,sec=krb5
This results in a password prompt, then a

More HEAD wierdness (chan_sip, jitterbuffer/PLC problems)
Hello,
After checking out CVS HEAD from yesterday (for those new
PLC/Jitterbuffer patches), I was affected by bug 3795 with my Polycom
IP600's. After seing it resolved as of this morning (thanks Mark), I
decided to try again...
I can answer incoming calls. No problem there. Putting calls on hold,
however, results in my Polycom IP600 indicating the call on hold, but
the caller does

ylim in barplot()
Thank you David,
That's a nice workaround using plotrix::barp(), but that doesn't explain
why ylim doesn't work as intended (or at least, as I expect it to work),
or why xpd has no influence when using devEMF::emf()...
The problem with saving directly in RStudio is that it requires to
manually save the plot, and this becomes troublesome when there are a
lot of plot commands in a

rpc trust gives NT_STATUS_INVALID_HANDLE with 3.0.11
When I try to establish a trust from SAMBA 3.0.11 to Windows 2003 I get the
error: NT_STATUS_INVALID_HANDLE. I have no problem the other way. I had no
problem either, when I ran SAMBA 3.0.9, and the problem disappeared when I
down-graded to 3.0.9.
Here is what happens ('CALYPSO' is the Windows-server and 'KONTOR' is its
domain-name):

NT_STATUS_INVALID_HANDLE with wbinfo -a
I've been stuck on this one for days and can't seem to find anything
referencing the same problem; help would be greatly appreciated. I have a
functioning Samba 3.5.4-63 installation acting as a PDC - users can log in
from Windows 7 machines without problems etc. etc.
The issue is with using wbinfo -a to authenticate users (without going into
too much detail, I'm trying to use the

Winbind Samba 3.5.1
Somehow I can't figure out what's going wrong. I have a Samba server
running as PDC. Workstations can join the domain and users can logon. So
far so good. I need winbind to be able to authorize a radius server to
the PDC. This I cannot achieve. If someone got give me a clue, I spend
already quiet some time Google the net :(
Thanks,
