configure issue (PR#9379)
Full_Name: Gordon Lack Version: 2.4.0 OS: Redhat Linux AS2.1 Submission from: (NULL) (198.28.92.5) Not sure whether this is a configure issue or an R one. It's only a minor issue, so this is really just FYI. The code in configure checks for the version of makeinfo by splitting the version string into a major and minor component. The tests on these assume they are numeric. RHAS2.1 shipped

No "ssh -X hostname" doesn't work. But when you "export DISPLAY=..." it works!? I set the the Display Hack so that I can see my IP with "env" or "echo SSH_CLIENT" when I'm connect via VPN-Tunnel and I don't know my IP in the Net I'm connected through. GSS/Kerb5, Solaris 10, how to build?
Gang, I've been trying to build rc29 under Solaris 10 using either "--with-gssapi" or Kerberos 5 ticket usage. I'm trying to figure out how to set up fetchmail on another S10 box to do IMAP fetches from dovecot without having to enter a password. No matter what configure option I try, I get Building with GSSAPI support ........ : no at the end of the configure. I searched

They also add the necessary fixes to build for arm64 (which I have only tried cross, not native). I have posted some instructions on how to compile with these patches on the wiki:

I've been searching the internet and I found several notes from other people having the same errors/warnings, but never found a solution. In fact there was no response at all to these cries for help. Hopefully somebody will react to my cry... Can somebody give me a clue of what

Error in vfs module man page
There is an error in the vfs_shadow_copy man page. The module is described as: "vfs_shadow_copy ? Make a Samba share read only for a specified time period" which is obviously wrong. The error can also be found in the corresponding pages on the Samba site: https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/manpages/ The link "vfs_shadow_copy(8)" has the same erroneous description. As

One computer will show the previous versions of files just fine, but every other computer I've installed the Microsoft Shadow Copy Client on will not show any previous versions.
