Random procmail filter failures.
Hi all, I'm seeing a random issue with my procmail filters (only on email from this list) where once every so often, it will fail to filter a message. I am sorting by the to/cc email address, and this rule works on 99.9% of posts, however every now and again, I see something like this happen: From centos-bounces at centos.org Sat Jan 5 01:57:28 2008 Subject: Re: [CentOS]

flex package marked as fc6 and no flex-devel?
Hi all, I'm in the middle of setting up a build environment for OpenWRT and it looks like the packages need flex. Looking at the CentOS repositories, it looks as though the flex package is tagged as fc6 - it also looks like there is no flex-devel package at all. Does anyone know what the go is here? Xen Version update policy
The latest bunch of test packages are available here: http://au1.mirror.crc.id.au/repo/el8/x86_64/ Hopefully, as of a few hours ago, this set should actually install. Currently, networking won't work as they require brctl - which isn't in EL8. I've written patches for this, but they'll probably end up being part of a cleanup of everything in /etc/xen/scripts/ Problem is,

What do you think about this motherboard?
Hello all..... I would like to know if anyone here has had good experience with this Supermicro motherboard.....http://supermicro.com/products/motherboard/P4/E7221/P8SCT.cfm I am thinking about using it in an entry level mail and file server with a 3ware card and 200 GB SATA drives. Cost is a factor here otherwise I would go for an Opteron board instead. JC

Can TFTPD run in a chroot jail?
Hi, I've been struggling with this problem for the last couple of hours and am nowhere near solving the problem. I am trying to run a tftp server in a chroot jail. Now perhaps I am being paranoid, but I would like to have it launched from within its own jail even if it supposedly does a chroot itself and runs with a parameterizable user. I downloaded the atftp-server package and tried

question about R on Linux Cluster
Hi, I am in trying to get a new Linux Cluster. I am thinking about putting R on it. Does anyone have any experience with running R on a distributed Linux Cluster? Or does R support a cluster environment at all. Any pitfall I should really watch out for? Thanks in advance Apollo

A good primer to User Administration?
Hi, I've been running Linux as a workstation OS for years, and have been dealing with Windows networks and standalone Linux servers for a while now. >2GB dataset
Hi, do any one have experience with loading dataset that is larger than 2GB into R. My organization is a SAS oriented shop and I'm in the process of switching it to R. One of the complain about R has always been it's inability to handle large dataset (>GB) efficiently. I would like some comments from someone with experience of working on >2GB dataset in R. Thanks.
