On my 64-bit machine with CentOS 5.5 the installation via hplip-3.11.1.run and hplip-3.11.1.plugin.run works perfectly (except scanning - but that's not the problem at the moment). On my second machine - CentOS 5 32-bit I have many problems and printing doesn't works. 1. Installation

Does anyone know of a way just to add that particular driver to 1.6.7, or will it require removing the standard 1.6.7 and doing a custom install of 1.7.2.
