No sound when bridging two single FXO cards
Wow ! No reply... May be I must talk about X100P instead of X101P ? Is someone has yet encountered this kind of "no sound" problem when bridging two FXO lines like this (first as input, second as output) ? Any idea ? TIA. Function to get a sequence of months
Hi all, I am looking for a function for following calculation. start.month = "July" end.month = "January" months = f(start.month, end.month, by=1) * f is the function that I am looking for. Actually I want to get months = c("July", "August",.............."January") If start.month = 6 and end.month = 1 then I could use (not properly) seq()

a question
Dear R-helpers, I need to read some data from output of garchFit in fGarch. my model is garch(1,1) and i want to read coefficients(omega,alpha,beta) and timeseries(x) and conditional SD(s). because i need them to use in other formula. for example :omega+x[1]+s[3] and maybe i have several simulation then i need a general way to read them, not to read with my eyes for example the quantity of

FIPS 140-2 certification
Hello everyone! I work for a company that uses OpenSSH to remotely support systems we've sold. Since some of our clients are US Dept. of Defense hospitals, our access to these servers needs to comply with a whole range of requirements and standards. At this point it's looking like the SSH daemon needs to be FIPS 140-2 compliant, and the only package that is certified is F-Secure.

[LLVMdev] Little win32/Signals.cpp patch
Someone needs to adjudicate on whether I add the #include of <cstdio> or not. I can't test this so, Paolo/Henrik/Jeff, please let me know if I need to add it. Thanks, Reid. I checked right now that it compiles also with #include <iostream> Jeff, can you test it with plain VC? --- Paolo Invernizzi On Sep 24, 2004, at 4:52 PM, Reid Spencer wrote: > I'll wait for the research. Opinions needed on call quality vs network latency
Hi, I am checking out the quality at a few vendors, and althought I know it doesn`t totally reflect call quality I am using ping as a cheap subsitute to having a real VoIP testing system The question I have is this one: given that one service gives me a 80ms ping (pretty consistantly) and another one gives me 30ms (again very consistently), is this 50ms difference enough to impact perceived call

File_field and Firefox
Hi! Im developing a simple prototype of an application. It fills an oracle db with data about a file in the filesystem, and save the entire file in a blob along with some metadata. To get the file in the db i use a file_field form helper. All goes well with the radrails-integrated browser, but it doesnt work anymore in firefox. The problem is, firefox seems to cut the pathname from the file. Here

[LLVMdev] Little win32/Signals.cpp patch
I added the include of cstudio and it fails with plain VC7.1; the file does not exist. Add it for now. If it is impossible to build with VC7.1 and without STLPort, then there really isn't a choice. I have to research the issue myself to see if it's possible to avoid using STLPort. On Fri, 24 Sep 2004 07:42:51 -0700 Reid Spencer <reid at x10sys.com> wrote: > Someone needs

[LLVMdev] Little win32/Signals.cpp patch
I'll wait for the research. We should try, as much as possible, to make it work with just what the compiler provides and without third party packages. Thanks, reid. isolinux probles
Hi, I'm trying to create a bootable CD, and so far I have had limited success. On the first CD I created, isolinux worked, but I think I had a kernel without the necessary initrd support compiled in, so the boot failed. Now I can't even re-create that success. At the moment the CD's I'm burning (3 so far) do not even show the display file. I used isolinux-debug.bin for the

samba 4.1.17 on raspberry pi as ad dc - winbind breaks it again
okay, I started to look into winbind and the /etc/nsswitch.conf (and smb.conf)... and it wreaked havoc... I was using the guide at https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setup_a_Samba_AD_Member_Server - right guide? the guide is talking about "samba member server that is part of an active directory" Is that correct? I mean, THE ad domain controller is member of the ad, but it sounds like
