Hello, I am running Samba 3.0.14a under Debian Sarge with a LDAP backend (OpenLDAP) following the IdealX guide. I am using smbldap-tools, too. Everything seems to work fine, except when I try a machine to join the domain: Windows XP SP2 says it cannot find the user. Hi, After playing around with Samba 3.0.11 with smbldap-tools v0.8.6 and later with v0.8.7 it seems that joining workstations to domain with 'smbldap-adduser -w ws001' is not possible because it generates LDAP entries only as objectclass posixAccount and objectclass sambaSamAccount is missing. So joining domain from workstation or making Computer account with smbldap-useradd -w
