rpart: apply tree to new data to get "counts"
Hi, when I have made a decision tree with rpart, is it possible to "apply" this tree to a new set of data in order to find out the distribution of observations? Ideally I would like to plot my original tree, with the counts (at each node) of the new data. Reagards, Jay

[LLVMdev] summer of code idea — checking bounds overflow bugs
Qiuping, Have you looked at what has already been done? I would expect that taking previous work such as this: http://llvm.org/pubs/2006-05-24-SAFECode-BoundsCheck.html and integrating into current LLVM would be a better idea than starting over. Strange Fromuser behavior?
Strange things are happening at my asterisk box :) I've got asterisk setup to dail out with sip to my SIP provider. I've got NO fromuser/fromdomain stuff setup in my sip.conf When I place a call with my Siemens Optipoint 400 SIP phone everything is allright, the From: header is stating the username of the Siemens phone. [LLVMdev] summer of code idea — checking bounds overflow bugs
Hi, Some days ago I am interested in detecting undefined behaviors in C programs based on Clang. After several days’ investigation, I think checking bounds overflow bugs is more interesting, because bounds overflow is one of the most frequently encountered errors in C programs. For example, performing pointer arithmetic without checking bounds can cause bounds overflow. To increase the

Antivirus for Windows with Linux administration console
Hello, This is not a Samba question itself, but it's somewhat related to Samba. I am planning to replace the two Windows 2000 Server servers in a client company with two Samba PDCs with LDAP backend. Currently, those W2K servers hold the Active Directory and the the antivirus management console. And this is the only nuisance we are finding when moving from Windows Server to Samba PDC. If

locking limit errors with Peachtree
In the samba domain I admin, one of the computers runs the Peachtree accounting software. Today, McAfee antivirus was installed on that box (not my doing) and now Peachtree keeps giving "Locking table limit reached" errors. Is this an error from samba, Windows, or Peachtree? Is there a limit to the number of file locks samba can grant at one time? -- Andrew Gaffney Network

[LLVMdev] Windows development and "virus" in LLVM test suite
Thanks for your input. We are getting closer and closer to the final solution to this issue. I agree with you, on second thought, that only THE offending file should be excluded. If somebody is stupid enough to disable their antivirus or remove it (namely me), it is their own choice and is not something that all of the LLVM group has to take part in. So, I'll make sure the Windows docs

[LLVMdev] Windows development and "virus" in LLVM test suite
I admit I belong to a small group of not-too-bright people who still aspire to use LLVM. But I kind of see that as a highly valuable feature, insofar I convert this fact into something constructive (such as FAQ writing) :-) I actually did recommend people to disable their antivirus solution for two reasons - the aforementioned "virus" and the speed slowdown that they'll experience,

[LLVMdev] Windows development and "virus" in LLVM test suite
Hi, I just filed a bug because LLVM's test suite includes a virus. This is not normally a problem on Unix (not even Linux), but as everyone know, Windows is so vulnerable to vira, that Windows users have to have an antivirus solution installed. The problem is that the virus in: projects/test-suite/MultiSource/Applicaations/ClamAV/inputs/rtf-test/rtf1.rtf BREAKS the SVN pull of the LLVM
