Setting mail location in SQL?
Trying to figure out the syntax to set a mail_location for SQL. This doesn't work: userdb { driver = sql args = /etc/dovecot/master-combined-sql.conf override_fields = mail_location=maildir:/fakedir/%d/%n:INBOX=/fakedir:LAYOUT=fs } Does anyone know the proper syntax? Thanks in advance

Ext3 bad magic after upgrage FC1 to FC4
Dear All, I have server with a 160G disk with one partition /dev/hde1. The PC had FC1 and everything was working fine. I decided to do an upgrade to FC4. Now I can no longer mount that partition. I don't think anything happened to the file system, but changes in kernel and modules due to the upgrade is now making it inaccessible. I tried: mk2fs -n /dev/hde1 got a list of

Fedora FC1 RPMs
I've spent the morning looking at making some RPMs for Fedora Core 1 and run into a problem with GSSAPI. Basically the default install of Fedora doesn't come with the necessary gssapi code to build the RPMs by default (i.e. you need to say %define kerberos5 0 in openssh.spec). Since Fedora is going to fork off from RedHat I was going to create a set of patches to make a

Asterisk RPMS Updated (0.9.0 for RH73,8,9 and FC1)
Hello all, I spent a little time in the wilderness and when I came back to civilization, I found out that new Libpri, Zaptel and Asterisk archives were available on ftp.digium.com. As a result, I've updated my Asterisk RPMS for RedHat and made them available for public consumption. Because of several issues with Fedora Core 2 and the 2.6 kernel, I am going to wait before I even start

FC1 and FC2 RPMs now available
I have made my first run at building FC1 and FC2 rpms for Asterisk 1.0.0. These are based off of Greg's spec files which a few minor changes. Source and binary RPMs are available at: ftp://asterisk.purplehat.net/pub/asterisk/ Please report any problems with these files to myself and not Greg as he has nothing to do with these builds. :) Sorry these took so long; it was a wild week at

Access200 Sharing Problem
Hi! Using samba-3.0.11 or 3.0.11rc1 on RH9 Win Clients are XP SP2 I have a problem with sharing an ACCESS2000 mdb file on a samba share. The first user can open the file without any trouble. The next user (or the same user again) has to wait a timed 4 minutes before the database opens for him. I have tried a number of various locking options (oplocks = no, veto oplocks file = *\.mdb, even

FC3 or FC1 (or something else?)
Hi I wish to install asterisk 1.2 (the latest tar.gz from the site ....not the CVS version) on an HP box with a TE110P (single port E1/T1) My question is which OS would be preferred in this configuration Fedora Core 1 or Fedora Core 3, and are there any install guides out there that are recent enough for asterisk 1.2 I am also open to suggestions for other Operating Systems if any of you feel

HTB and Openvpn
Hi! I have just started with traffic shaping, and after hours of reading websites, man pages asf. I am still stumped at one problem I have. The interface eth0 is attached to the outside world, and I have an openvpn tunnel to another part of the organization using eth0 and port 5001. The idea was that all traffic going through the tunnel would have top priority and the rest share

HTB 2.6.8 works 2.4.27 does not!
Hi again, sorry to be such a bother. I got my setup to work with kernel 2.6.8.1, however the two machines where I need to implement the shaping are running a 2.4.27 kernel. I have applied the infamous June patch (htbfair.diff) already, and recompiled the modules. And I am using the tc that comes with htb3.6-020525.tgz. While I can see the packets going into the right class, it does not

Prevent machine password change
Hi I am using samba 3.0.7-2 on my FC1 box as a PDC with a backend of tdbsam and I would like to set up a BDC for the domain as well. The big samba book tells me it can be done with tdbsam, but is wary about the machine passwords changing, thus breaking the replication done with rsync. I don't have the time right now to get into an ldap backend, so I was wondering if there is a way to

IP based bandwith limit
Hi, i''ve following problem. One of our gateway router, which connects some of our customers should have bandwith limit. So customer A with IP XX should have 2 Mbit, customer B with IP YY should have 10 Mbit. There is no need of borrowing bandwith so no fairness needed. My simple question: with which technique should I manage this shaping? Or is there any existing project which

[Homes] on two machines, possible?
Hi, I have a smb pdc running which works quite well so far, and would like to know if this feature is possible. I have two locations, and I want all users to authenticate on Machine A. Howver there are some users that are closer to machine B, and I would like to be able to have the homes of those users on machine B rather than machine A (they should authenticate on machine A anyway). Is this

dev IFB, few questions
I''ve made some tests... eth2 is my internal interface, LAN is connected here. Before I had IMQ device in AB mode... PREROUTING [A]fter NAT, POSTROUTING [B]efore NAT. I want the same situation on ifb. I do this in this way: --- # incoming traffic here from LAN is before NAT tc qdisc add dev eth2 handle ffff: ingress # outcoming traffic here from WAN is after NAT tc qdisc add dev eth2
