When an XP box is reading a file from the Samba server performance is what you would expect with 100 mbs ethernet. When uploading a large file (>1 meg) performance is very slow. 1/20th what I would expect. Just thought I'd say that samba4 is working quite nicely. Samba4 DC on Ubuntu server. Added a W2k3R2 and W2k8R2 server as DC's. Took a little bit of play to get it done, but not much.
