I'm having some difficulties setting up browsing across networks and domains and was hoping some of you folks out there could help. We have two domains on two physically separate networks, connected via a firewall/router. I'm currently setting up a large mail system, with different services split out onto different machines. What I want is this: machine1: dovecot smtp auth, no pop/imap machine2: dovecot lda, no pop/imap machine3: pop/imap, nothing else machine3 is obviously not the issue. Greetings samba list, I'm running into an issue when attempting to use "map unknown to domain" on a samba servers bound to my AD domain. When a client maps a share and is not part of the domain, the domain is properly mapped for the user (according to the logs), but the domain controllers report that the password is wrong.
