Setting the jitter buffer in AIX
Are these things possible?
1) Set the local Asterisk jitterbuffer size, but only for a particular
connection. I'd like to force Asterisk to use a particularly large
buffer in certain cases. Should I expect this to work?

Ext3-0.0.5b in Roswell installation?
Hi!
I've upgraded my seawolf to ext3fs with the packages from Roswell (kernel,
filesystem, mount, ....), but when doing 'tune2fs -j', it mentions 'Ext3fs
version 0.0.5b'...?
Isn't version 0.0.7a the latest?? Why isn't that version included in the
Roswell kernel, but an older version is? And how can i upgrade my version of
ext3fs?
Thanks!

ext3-0.0.5b test release is available
Hi,
I have uploaded ext3-0.0.5b.tar.gz to
ftp.*.kernel.org:/pub/linux/kernel/people/sct/fs/ext3/test/
and ftp.uk.linux.org:/pub/linux/sct/fs/jfs/test/
New in this release is a functionally complete implementation of
metadata-only journaling: data writes will no longer have to be
written to the journal.
Journaling still imposes some extra serialisation points between
interacting processes, so

some ext3 benchmarks
Howdy,
Some ext2/3 benchmarks on a IBM-DPTA-372050 connected to k7 650MHz. The same
partition was used on all tests roughly with the same disk usage.
bonnie on ext2:

needs_recovery flag
Hi,
I'm running 0.03b and it appears that after a clean unmount the
needs_recovery flag is still set. [This makes is quite cumbersome to switch
between ext2 and ext3.]
How can this be fixed?
Oh, and I'm very happy.

Everyone happy?
There hasn't been any mailing list activity for almost a week.
Is it that we are all happy and just waiting for meta-data
journaling?

RH 6.2 + VA Linux Enhancements (includes ext3 0.5b) Problem
Hi,
[Background]
I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to get a reliable RH linux distribution
installed on my Intel machine with journaling on my large disks (not
interested in journaling the root fs). I've tried using ReiserFS and
eventually had some success, but it would seem that they are more in bed
with Suse. It would appear that RedHat has chose ext3 as it's current
journaling
