A question about GRAMMAR calculations in the FAM_MDR algorithm
Dear R developers:
I am a PHD candidate student in the school of public health of Peking
University and my major is genetic epidemiology. I am learning the FAM-MDR
algorithm, which is used to detect the gene-gene and gene-environment
interactions in the data of pedigree. The codes were written by Tom

Hi there,
I have a problem with the rpc driver stuff:
I have copied the driver files to //atlas/print$/W32X86 and WIN40 (via

But getdriver reports no driver associatet with the printer?!
So reports below.

mixing virtual and system users
Hello all,
I'm setting up a small mail server for aprox 20 users, and I'm trying to
keep it really simple so I went the virtual users as text file way,
following this page :
http://lukas-schulze.de/2012/02/setup-postfix-and-dovecot-on-debian-squeeze-with-users-stored-text-file/
It seemed to work fine except for the 'system' users, and I am stumped
by this. Basically the config

Troubles with Windows Me Registry in latest CVS
I'm having a problem that I'm not sure the cause of. I've never had a
problem with wineinstall until recently. I have full read/write access to
my Windows partition and wineinstall can see it. However it fails to find
the Windows registry for some reason.
I'm running Windows Me, on that partition. For Linux I'm running Redhat
7, and latest CVS.
Here's the messages I get.

Samba-2.2.2-1 and libcups.so.2
I have been having problems installing Samba-2.2.2-1.
I first downloaded the source, built, install on a RH 7.1 installation. When
attempting to run /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start, smbd returns 255 (echo $? on
the next line).
I then decided to use a RedHat rpm to install the binaries since the built
image seems not to be installed to the same places as the previous version
was installed on RH 7.1

Wine won't load native DLLs
Hi all
I signed myself up as the appdb maintainer to TaxCalc about a year ago so I thought it about time I did something to try and get it to work.
I know it does not work 'out of the box' so I was trying to use a few DLL overrides to pin down which native Wine libraries were causing difficulties (and so I can give some guidance on appdb). I have addeed taxcalc.exe in wine configuration

rspec for the svn-less (ruby version)
A couple of things:
- it is defaulted to 1.0.5, but if there was a "current" I could
probably use that instead.
- it seems like everyone might not use the rspec_on_rails piece...what
do other think?
- there are some other checks I could put in here, suggestions are welcome.
- general code suggestions are welcome as well.

Here is my ruby version:

Bam. This is about as reduced as it gets. I think I can spot the problem point:
