Goodmorning. I'm trying to connect a linux suse 7.3 (O.S.) pc with a windows98 SE pc. I must alloc file in directory of linux (server) and access it by win98 (client) login: alfa. In registry of win98 i have modified the value to 1 (as indicates in note). I definied a directory (\db\radius) and set the attributes correctly (all users can read,write,exec). I'm stuck. I have Samba running on my Red Hat 7.2 Linux box. I can mount by remote dirctory on the Linux box via Samba. But I can't print to the Linux printer. I have a Linux printer installed and I can print to it using lpr. I have a printer configured in Samba and can see that from the Win98SE box. I've clicked on the Samba printer name and configured a Win98 printer.

Hello, Can anybody please help me with the following errors. Whenever a user from the group "accounting" logs in the the PDC, a login box pops up and the following message appears "Accessed Denied - Accou~!n.bat". Well as a further to my last, I broke down and put a copy of Win98SE on a spare HDD in my Mandrake server box. First moment it was up and running, I tried to transfer the files between the two problem computers and BINGO! It worked.
