New Feature Request
Hi puppet masters, while working on my site I came across a requirement that might be helpful for others as well.... With the aim of confining human errors as much as possible, I thought that it would be nice to have yum repositories disabled so that specific repositories could be enabled for certain packages. This is easily implementable via command-line, but I found that the

Shared File System
I have a few cases where I need to share a filesystem (Read/Write) with multiple DomUs. Currently I use NFS to accomplish this task. However, NFS on Fedora 7 locks up under heavy traffic from time to time, forcing a reboot. Wouldn''t want that on the Dom0. Any one recommend a good way of sharing a file system in read/write with multiple DomUs? -- View this message in context:

If im not mistaken the application works like this: Satwin is the windows front end that calles *.bat files that are part of the suit saturn. While wine loads the satwin front end perfectly it fails to execute the *.bat files that are part of the saturn suit.

windows acl with rsync possible ?
Hi all, (i am new at rsync althought using it for a year and half) i was unable to find a direct answer to this questions : _does rsync under windowz really support ACL replication ?_ if I "rsync" a directory, files inherit from the acl of that dir. but if special acls are setted on some files these are lost in the replication : only inherited acls are written i tried this with rsync

Great Find
Just a good joke An old couple went into a restaurant and ordered something to eat: one Coca Cola and one portion of French fries. The old man sat down and the woman, his wife, sat opposite him, and he began to divide the Coca Cola into two glasses, half for him and half for his wife. He divided all the French fries half-and-half. He gave half to his wife and kept half for himself. Then he began

Hacking source: un-forward local port?
Hello! I was looking around for a solution which would allow me to un-forward already locally forwarded port but had no luck. So I decided to try and add it myself. I am not a good C coder, in fact, I've never really coded under unix before(it's just half a year since I fully moved from windowz). Here is what I made by now:

Mixing LDAP and static
I want to read quota size from LDAP, but I have a static value for home. How can I mix these? Right now, I have this LDAP configuration: user_attrs = uid=home=/var/mail/vhosts/%d/%n,gosaMailQuota=quota_rule=*:bytes=%$M which works fine, but looks up the uid attribute needlessly, and is not scalable: I have to pick a different, always-existing LDAP attribute for each static extra field

OT: High Quality Wireless Headset for Cisco IPPhones and *
Tom - here are a few suggestions Plantronics 510SL Bluetooth - they make a bundle that comes with a Bluetooth transceiver and a handset lifter. This is nice if you have users that already have Bluetooth headsets for their mobile phones, as it allows you to sync with their office phone as well. http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat29880043/cat2 9880054/prod5460016
