Hi, I am trying to configure Samba as blocking virus transfer so that shares can be safe. I am using redhat el3 and fc4. I want to install samba-vscan, clamd. I have tried to install it from tar packages but i couldn't succeed it. I have read some HOWTO's but I still face the same problems. Are there any documents that explain exactly how its going to be? Hi, I am running a CentOS 5 file server in our Windows network and I wanted to add a anti virus scanner. I got a clamav package from atrmps.net, but the samba module samba-vscan is missing. I just installed samba3+samba-vscan via ports on a FreeBSD 4.x system. Samba is running just fine and thanks to the help of webmin it was easily configured.
