Migration succesful , but can't add machine to domain
Hi all, I migrate NT4 PDC to SAmba3 tdbsam backend. All users, groups, machineboxes are ok. When I am try to add Win2k to domain, popup the a windows, I type the DOMAIN ADMIN username, password, and I get a failer message: Bad user or password. I think my samba doesn't know where is passwd.tdb in my smb.conf: passdb backend = tdbsam:/etc/samba/passdb.tdb Any idea what is wrong?

Problem : Samba 3.0.2a as PDC with Win2000 Pro
Hi, all.... Honestly I'm a newbie in Linux. For a couple days, I've been trying to build my own PDC server. I've got enough manual resource for guidance, but somehow, untill now I can't log my Win2000 Profesional into the PDC server. After reinstall XP - browsing doesn't work
Hi all, I use Samba 2.2.7a-SuSE. It works correctly, but after when I reinstalled my XP, the browsing hasn't worked. :( Example, I try to browse from Explore, it halt. Asterisk Sip trunking routing problem

Anyone offering dedicated Intel-VT servers?
Any dedicated server hosts here offering Intel-VT-based servers? I''m thinking about standing up two Xen hosts in two different geographical locations and it''d be great if I could run either Windows or Linux on an Intel-VT-based processor (rather than using VMware on a standard processor). Failed to join domain: failed to connect to AD: No logon servers
I am using Samba v4.0.16. Join to the domain controller with two NIC's, it will fail once every two times. Response from the DNS, will succeed in domain join in the case of reachable IP addresses. Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4
Hello. Anyone else experiencing Problems with this update ? We do have W2k AD. And Samba Member-Server. This is done via Winbind without using Kerberos. After installing the Update to our AD-Servers. It seems that winbind lost its connectivity. wbinfo -t worked. wbinfo -u showed errors. After removing the update from all our servers, winbind works again. Should I move our configuration to
