Recode factor into binary factor-level vars
How to I "recode" a factor into a binary data frame according to the factor levels: ### example:start set.seed(20) l <- sample(rep.int(c("locA", "locB", "locC", "locD"), 100), 10, replace=T) # [1] "locD" "locD" "locD" "locD" "locB" "locA" "locA" "locA"

LDAP useradd command?
Hi, Is there an equivalent of a useradd for systems that are using LDAP user management? I know I can build an LDIF file and import it, but it is a bit of a pain to do it manually all the time. Is there not an easier / faster way? Thanks, Eric

I knew how to do that with the old sip format, but can't seem to figure it out with PJSip. For example: Currently Location A, extension 10 calls Location B, extension 20.? PartialAlias: different start addresses
Thank you all for your replies. So here seems to be an agreement that the documentation for PartialAlias is incorrect. Daniel: now you got me wondering about MustAlias. This is what the docs say: "The MustAlias response may only be returned if the two memory objects are *guaranteed to always start at exactly the same location*" This statement is regardless of the access sizes. I am not sure, but I believe I got it directly from www.webmin.com. best regards --- Michael Schumacher

Help with Webmin Module
Hello People I''m new here, so forgive-me for any "newbie talk". My client is running Debian Sarge (Stable), with Shorewall and Webmin. I want to make things easier for them and tried to use the webmin-shorewall module. The thing is - the installed shorewall is 3.0.5 (package from testing) but the webmin module only understands (and builds) the old shorewall 2.x file

Summary grouped by factor
### example:start v <- sample(rnorm(200), 100, replace=T) k <- rep.int(c("locA", "locB", "locC", "locD"), 25) tapply(v, k, summary) ### example:end ... (hopefully) produces 4 summaries of v according to k group membership. How can I transform the output into a nice table with the croups as columns and the interesting statistics as lines? Thx,

New users not visible within webmin
I have recently upgraded samba to 3.6.23-9.el5_11 and have noticed all new users created can not be seen with using the samba config tool within CentOS or within the samba webmin module. I can manually log in and look the account information within the smbpasswd file and can query it using pdbedit. I need to be able to edit this information from within the webmin module as there are a number

[LLVMdev] Using an alias analysis pass
Hello LLVMdev, I’m using LLVM to do static analysis exclusively (without any code generation). To implement this analysis, I’m using multiple address spaces to disambiguate the purpose of the pointed memory. Since address spaces never alias in my model, I set on to implement an alias analysis pass that would exactly provide this information, as I’m seeing a couple of otherwise dead store that
