e2undel for ext3
Is there an ext3 version of this? Something in ext3 makes e2undel unable to recover unlinked inodes. I just deleted something, umounted the drive to preserve the state. I used e2undel to look for stuff to recover and it found 0 deleted files. I have been using e2undel for quite a while with great success and I know hwo to use it, but it seems to not be able to recover stuff on ext3. Is there

B62 AHCI and ZFS
Hardware Supermicro X7DAE (AHCI BIOS) dual Intel Woodcrest processors, 6 x Western Digital Raptor SATA drives. I have installed b62 running 64 bit succesfully on a PATA drive. The BIOS is configured to access the SATA drives in native mode using hte AHCI Bios. I have 6 SATA II drives accessed via the Solaris AHCI driver. I have created a ZFS file system across all 6 drives. This works fine until

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: handle same-fb page flips
It's questionable use case, but weston/wayland already relies on this behaviour, and other drivers don't care about it, so it's a matter of compatibility. Without it, process invoking such page flip hangs in unkillable state, trying to reserve the same buffer twice. Why does 'extend ActiveSupport::Concern' cause `undefined method 'recycle!'`?
Working on Rails Engine. I want to make the controllers customizable whereever the Rails Engine is used. Therefore, I was trying to use `extend ActiveSupport::Concern` on the Engine controller class and include it in MyRailsApp. https://gist.github.com/4185823 # code in my rails engine moduel MyEngine class SomeController extend ActiveSupport::Concern def engine_some_method

Simple example for High performance computing with R?
Dear list, I want to run two independent calculation (A, B) and then combined their results to do a plot in R. Before I just run calculation A first, then calculation B. It will take some times. I just have one server with multiple core. I noticed that there are some nice package in R for parallel calculation, such as parallel, multicore and snow. Also there is a book, O?Reilly ? ?Parallel R,

foreach takes foreever?
I started to look at ways to improve times of certain very parallel tasks and thought that foreach should be a valid candidate to do the job. So, i opened foreach tutorial by Steve Weston and started timing examples from it. First example from tutorial is  >system.time(for(i in 1:100000) sqrt(i))    user  system elapsed     0.06    0.00    0.06  > system.time(foreach(i=1:100000) %do%

TDM400P takes too long to ring
Hey all, I have a setup with two analog lines coming into and Asterisk 13 box with a TDM400P and it takes a lot of rings before asterisk takes over. I've traced this same box on two different analog providers so it probably isn't a problem with them. I DO have callerid enabled and not sure I can turn it off (if they will let me). Any other ideas of making it ring through faster? By the

--include-from question
I'm having problems using rsync's --include-from and --exclude-from options. Here's an example of what I'm trying to do: On the source machine I have /usr/local/bin, /usr/local/etc, and /usr/local/foobar. I only want to sync /usr/local/bin and /usr/local/etc. Things work as expected if I use the following rsync command: rsync -av --exclude-from=exclude.txt

[PATCH v3] drm/nouveau: Accept 'legacy' format modifiers
Accept the DRM_FORMAT_MOD_NVIDIA_16BX2_BLOCK() family of modifiers to handle broken userspace Xorg modesetting and Mesa drivers. Existing Mesa drivers are still aware of only these older format modifiers which do not differentiate between different variations of the block linear layout. When the format modifier support flag was flipped in the nouveau kernel driver, the X.org modesetting driver
