Obtuse-smtpd and Postfix
Hi all.. I would like to switch to CENTOS Postfix from sendmail. My current sendmail, in combination with the very old obtuse-smtpd, allows me: 1. To control who of the internal users can send mail and to which domain or accounts 2. To control who of the internal users can receive mail and from which domain or accounts 3. To obtain a copy of all sent mails

Bug#617530: logcheck-database: log format changed for postfix/smtpd when using XFORWARD
Package: logcheck-database Version: 1.3.13 Severity: wishlist Hi, after upgrading Postfix from 2.7.1-1 to 2.8.1-1 (using testing) parts of the log format from postfix/smtpd have changed. This problem only seems to trigger when accepting connections in smtpd using XFORWARD (http://www.postfix.org/XFORWARD_README.html), for example when Amavisd-new reinjects mail to postfix. The new log lines

Logging authentication failures when Dovecot's auth service used to authenticate postfix smtpd
Hello, tl;dr: Is there a way to get dovecot's auth to log failed smtp authentications without having to switch on "auth_verbose"? postfix version 2.11.0 and dovecot version 2.2.12 I'm currently migrating my postfix+courier to postfix+dovecot and so far it's working as expected. Except for logging smtp login failures. Despite Postfix logging successful authentications (see

Postfix / Postini question
I have a mail server that handles several domains. One of these domains has decided to use Postini. For those not familiar with Postini, you set your MX records to use their mail servers. They filter mail, and deliver you only the clean virus/spam free mail. The idea is to only allow incoming mail from their mail servers so spammers are unable to send to your mail server directly. This is

Samba 2.2.8a Print Driver Issues Solaris 8
Hi; I've reciently upgraded 3 print servers on Solaris 8 from Samba 2.0.9 to 2.2.8a and am running in to difficulties related to clients being able to configure printer drivers. I do not use the [print$] for serving up drivers to install from the print server. I provide access to drivers from a common share from the Microsoft Domain the print servers participate in. I'm still using the

It affects RHEL6 which runs 2.6.32, they backported the features that it affects. If the above openvz kernel was based on a RHEL6 kernel (and I'd guess it was) then it's affected. Peter
