As solution, switch to poll(): it has a slightly better interface to check what changed and for which FD, and it does not have a limit in the value of the FDs monitored. poll() is supported on the platforms we

adaptive query scoring
Hi all Is there a way to do adaptive query scoring (as in popular results returned by a query should get more weight because they are getting clicked more often) in xapian? Is this what the rset class should be used for? I could write a php app to do adaptive results scoring for separate words (just recording the clicks and then have a cron:ned script add weight to the document_id:s for the

related documents
Hi All, I would like to take a doc in the xapian DB and find all related documents by relevance e.g. so when you view one document it says "Related entries X Y Z". I'm aware of the "Morelikethis" Lucene plugin that is supposed to do something like this, by generating a query from a document based on term frequency. Has anyone developed a tool to generate a query from a

Compilation with Kerberos problem
I'm trying to compile Samba 3.0.4 with Active Directory support on OpenBSD 3.5, using the native Kerberos libraries (which happens to be Heimdal 0.6). Unfortunately, ./configure isn't working right. If anyone can help me figure out what the problem is, i would appreciate it. First a bit of info on OpenBSD's Kerberos path layout, in case it matters: /usr/libexec - daemons

unable to build 3.2 on HP-UX
Hi all, I'm trying to build Samba 3.2 on HP-UX 11.11. I already tried different settings (without ldap, active directory etc, building in a different directory) but without success. The Problem is independent from configure options - called within the source tree without any options leads exactly to the same result. Here are some informations about my setup: gcc (GCC) 4.2.3 HP-UX B.11.11
