Cannot join NT 4.0 Client to Samba3.0a21 PDC
Hello, I have successfully migrated an existing NT domain of about 30 users and 50 machines (mainly NT + W2K) to a Samba 2.2.7a PDC. I used the IDEALX Samba-PDC-Howto as a basis, using SSL and LDAP as the authentication mechanism. Because of problems with NT groups, I decided to try Samba 3.0, so I downloaded and built Samba-3.0alpha21, using the RPM Spec below. Using the same smb.conf that

security bug or misconfiguration ?
Dear list, We are experiencing users unexpectedly accessing each others files. It happens when they try to access files that are called the same and which is located in an equal file structure under their login drive. Two other conditions need to be fulfilled: one of the users needs to have the file locked and both users needs to be logged into the same Citrix server(windows-2000). For instance

Asterisk Inbound calls, multiple SIP accounts, calledID
Solved it, kinda. It's not cute. I'm sure this is the way NOT to do it but it does work. For prosperity, the SIP service is through Internode. Here is my "extensions.conf" file: exten => s,1,Set(thedid="${SIP_HEADER(TO)}"); ignore this one exten => s,2,Set(pseudodid=${SIP_HEADER(To)}) exten => s,3,Set(pseudodid=${CUT(pseudodid,@,1)}) exten =>

read.spss {foreign} doesn't work over network?
I'm unable to open an SPSS file over my network. If I copy it to my local C:/ drive I can read it. I saved the command (in a "crib sheet" text file) in order to avoid all the typing, so I'm pretty sure I've done it before. I verified that the file I'm trying to read is OK. This is what happens: > SurveyData <-

Asterisk Inbound calls, multiple SIP accounts, calledID
Hi Dmitriy and others and thanks for your help so far. The option "match_auth_username=yes" seems to have had no effect. From my reading, this option will try to match the username of the incoming SIP account to a section heading. If that is how it must work then i can see a big problem. I'm trying to present the receptionist with a nice display of which line the call came in on.
