beware supposed PCI 2.2 compatibility!
I tried to convert a cheapie box with a VIA C3 processor into my
Asterisk server with a TDM-400P rev. E. It didn't work. :) I'm just
posting my experiences here for the record; this is not a plea for
assistance.
The nifty-looking blue "E" cards, as most here probably know, require a
PCI 2.2-compliant slot. What you may not know is that manufacturers may

deliver command line options "visible" in sieve script
I use dovecot mailbox as destination of fetches from a few POP
mailboxes. I would like to pass name of "source mailbox" to sieve script
via deliver's command line option(s).
As I understand I should use -a "mailbox at domain".
How it would be accessible in sieve script?

Install Location on Linux Red Hat
Hi,
I'm having some difficulty installing R on our server which is running
RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) 5.2. I'm using RPM (Red Hat Package
Manager) and by default it installs R in /usr/bin. Unfortunately due
to a very small partition size, I have run out of space in this
directory. I was hoping to install R in another location such as
/data. I'm wondering if anyone else has run

Sound causing crashes in a Japanese game
I'm not really sure where to go with this. It's a Japanese game, so I doubt anyone here has played it, but hopefully someone will be able to understand the error.
The game is ?n????? (Shikkoku no Sharnoth). Initially, I thought it ran fine, but when I loaded the save I had made, the game crashed. Playing around with it a bit more, I noticed that it seems to be related to sound. If I

Looking for specific drag and drop implementation
I finally started playing with delicious and am liking it!
I''m building an app where people can have various ''folders'' of images and
then ''sets'' of said images. A set is simply a object that links to any
number of specific image in the folders.
To create/organize a set, I''ve set up two draggables. One being a selected
folder, the other being

What should my smbpasswd file look like?
I can not connect to my linux box from my Mac. I get a 'Could not
connect to the server because the name or password is not correct'

I'm not sure where to check to even see what username/pwd samba is using.
If I open up my smbpasswd file, it looks like this:

Push relay from nicecast with icecast2?
Darrel,
Thanks for the help. I'm presuming then that I've misunderstood what is
meant by "pull" vs. "push".
I understood, I guess erroneously, that the context of 'push' relaying
was from the perspective of the icecast2 receiving a 'pushed' stream. I
believe now that I have this backwards, and that the context is from
the part of icecast2 not being

Installing MySQL server (user-pwd)
Hi you all,
I am reading the Rolling with Rails article, by Curt Hibbs. In the
beginning, when he is explaining how to install the MySQL Server, he
comments we mustn''t set up any account cause MySQL uses an
authentication algorithm that is not compatible with the current version
of Rails. Is there any way to avoid this and establish an account with
its password? (I am using MySQL 5.0
