Limit concurrent SSH sessions
Hi,
For one of my application, for accepting the ssh connection on different
namespaces, I am instantiating "sshd service" on different namespaces. I am
able to create ssh connection on each namespcae but I want to put a
limitation on max concurrent ssh connection to 5 for each namespace. Is
there a way to achieve it using openssh.
Thanks & Regards

limiting concurrent scp/rsync sessions (over ssh)
Hello,
I have a file server that serves files over rsync and scp (all over ssh -
in fact, ssh is the only service listening)
I would like to limit each user to no more than X concurrent ssh sessions
(regardless of what they are doing (interactive login, scp, rsync, etc.))
I have read the documentation and man pages and it looks like I need to
set this in /etc/pam.d/sshd, but I don't know

Concurrent POP3 Sessions Issues
Hi,
I have problems with dovecot + ldap + nfs, we could't have more than
20 concurrent sessions of pop3, when user 21 comes, the auth process takes
more than 1 sec and is incresing (while most users arrives, more delay in
autenticacion exists) and my customers complaint about the service. We need
support about 200 concurrents pop3 users, here is my details

PDC and concurrent logins
Hello!
I am using samba running as a PDC at our school. I have read many docs and
howtos but I can't find anything about Concurrent logins. I would be a
nice feature becouse I don't want my users to login more than one time. Is
there anyone that does have a clue?

How to put a limit on the number of simultaneous session that a user can open ?
Hi list,
I'm using Samba 3.0.4 on FreeBSD 5.2.1 as PDC for nt4 clients.
Is it possible to set a limit concerning the number of parallel session
that a domain user can open ?
My goal is to allow only one session per user.
Thanks,

max concurrent CIFS connections
Hello,
I need some help please. I have been told from an administrator that Samba
does only support up to 3.000 concurrent CIFS connections and each
connections reserve 5MB of memory.
If this is true that I would need 15GB of memory to support 3.000 concurrent
CIFS sessions how many people have this amount of memory in any server?
The second argument which he used was and I quote him

How many concurrent IMAP sessions?
Has anybody ever bothered to measure how many concurrent IMAP sessions dovecot
can handle?
I know it depends on hardware, filesystem, mailbox type etc., but what exactly
controls the number and what have people on the list measured?

limit concurrent calls on trunk supporting multiple DID
Hello guys,
I've one SIP trunk that support multiple DID. Only the trunk is
documented in sip.conf (called DID is taken from the sip-header in
real time).
I would like to limit the number of simultaneous calls on each DID. Is
there a way to achieve this ?
My understanding is that the SIP configuration parameter
"limitonpeers" will limit at the trunk level, right ?
Thanks in advance

Lost performance between Samba 3.0.24 and 3.5.8 with high number of concurrent connections
Hi,
We are trying upgrade our roaming profile sever from Debian Etch to Debian
Squeeze. That's means a upgrade from Samba 3.0.24 to Samba 3.5.8. Our
production environment has above 600 concurrent users without problem. After
upgrade to Samba 3.5.8, server can't manage above 200 users. With
'smbclient', the output is:
Error [user] session setup failed: Call timed out: server did

Devise restrict concurrent login
Hi,
I am using devise 1.0.8, and I want to restrict concurrent login of user
i.e. same user should not be login from different browser or different
location if he already login from some where.
and if he really wants to login forcefully then other side sessions for
that user should be clear and he should be logout from other sides.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

maximum concurrent ZAP channels .... max conf ports ...
Hi All,
Is it possible to go beyond 250 concurrent ZAP channels with some tweaking
or workaround ? Meetme uses zap channels, so we could have a max of 250
conference ports. Is it possible to higher this ?
"An Asterisk system can only handle a *max. of 250 concurrent ZAP channels*.
This is due to the design limit (255) within the ZAP channel driver."
Thanks,

Limiting the number of concurrent users
Hi
We have a prospect who''s asking us to provide a price for a certain
number of concurrent users for our application (i.e. they can have 50
user accounts, but only 20 users are logged in at the same time).
Does anyone have experience on how to handle this? Maybe by getting
the number of active sessions?
Up till now, we have always uses an unlimited user license, but in

Could concurrent R sessions mix up variables?
Hi, I'm working in R 2.11.1 x64 on Windows x86_64-pc-mingw32.
I'm experiencing a strange problem in R that I'm not even sure how to
begin to fix.
I've got a huge (forty-pages printed) simulation written in R that I'd
like to run multiple times. When I open up R and run it on its own,
it works fine. At the beginning of the program, there's a variable X
that I set to 1,

[PATCH libnbd v2 3/4] api: Implement concurrent writer.
Callers may now optionally set up a concurrent writer thread. The
outline of this idea is explained here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2019-June/msg00010.html
The change is quite small, but here are some points which are true but
may not be obvious:
* All writes return immediately with success (unless we run out of
memory), and writes never block.
* When going down the READY
