snip.rpart with R 1.6.0
Hello!
I've a question to the rpart package. With the snip.rpart function, you can
snip off subtrees. In R 1.5.1 this function works without problems. But in
the new version of R (1.6.0) it isn't possible to snip off the subtrees wi
th this function. Does someone have a solution for this problem?

init.data function error
We had been using R1.2.3 "print tip lowess function" as described by
Terry Speed's group to normalize microarray data and up until this week
the commands we were using were working fine.
First, we load our data using arrayname<-read.table("filename",
header=T)
and then check that the table is OK.
We format the data list using setup1<-init.data() and usually get a

master.password instead of LDAP database.
Good day.
Help me please to solve my problem to login a user to samba domain.
Samba accepts user authorisation only if a user account exists both in
master.password and LDAP database.
Note that uid and gid are taken from master.password instead of LDAP
database.
Why?

selinux violation does not get logged
After upgrading to centos 5.4 I am getting a selinux violation, yet
nothing is logged to /var/log/audit/audit.log. Other violations do get
logged.
The violation occurs when running the following command on the mail

Hi Serg,
Do you mean that turning off readdir-optimize did not work? Or did you mean
turning off parallel-readdir did not work?

Some queries on g729 license.
Hi, all
I am a pabx vendor from Singapore. Recently we are going to implement a
failover solution for our customers using heartbeat, the asterisk server
can failover perfectly, however the g729 codec canot work, because it is
binded the mac address, we have bought two set of licenses, can you
provide us some workaround for this scenario?

Invisible files and directories
Hi,
I'm currently facing the same behaviour.?
Today, one of my users tried to delete a folder. It failed, saying the directory wasn't empty. ls -lah showed an empty folder but on the bricks I
found some files. Renaming the directory caused it to reappear.
We're running gluster 3.12.7-1 on Debian 9 from the repositories provided by gluster.org, upgraded from 3.8 a while ago. The

Access Violation error after loading csv file
Hello,
I am using Windows 7 and R version 2.13.1. I was trying to read a csv file
which has about 1.5 million records and 13 variables. My R code loaded
145,346 records only without showing any error. If I want to see the last
few records (tail), it is throwing access violation error. I am attaching
the screenshot showing this error and the code I am running to read this
file.

smbpasswd complains about LDAP: "Object class violation"
I'm trying to get Samba on a Mac OS X box running as a PDC with an
LDAP backend. I've read through all of the major walkthroughs I can
find, and we've actually already got it running very nicely as a file
server; people are currently authenticating against a different PDC
and then mapping drives from the Samba box in question.
However, I'd like it to be the PDC eventually, but

I think this is a bug
Hello!
I work with:
R : Copyright 2006, The R Foundation for
Statistical Computing
Version 2.3.1 (2006-06-01)
On Windows XP Professional (Version 2002) SP2
I think there is a bug in the conditional
execution if (expr1) {expr2} else {expr3}
If I try:
"if (expr1) expr2 else expr3"
it works well but when I put the expression expr2
and expr3 between {} I receive an error message
