Installing rgl on linux
Hi, I'm new to R. I installed several packages in R (R-1.9.1) without problems. I am trying to set R up to use Rcmdr, all I need now is rgl - unfortunately I can't get it to install. There is a previous message regarding this issue from June but even with information in those answers I get stuck. I have attempted to install rgl form within R and from a shell using the tarball

syslog flooding
Greetings; Nut pull & build from about two weeks ago, 2.4.3 I believe. Belkin UPS. I have everything working but a proper shutdown of upsd when I reboot, it hangs there and needs the hdwe reset button to reset it. That may be related to my finding more than 1 K##upsd and more than one K##upsmon, in /etc/rc5.d and which I have now nuked. However, while its working well enough to monitor,

Old thread on belkin
Greetings all; Back to a thread I started back in May of 2008 I think. I never did get this belkin and nut to talking, so I thought I'd make another run at it. Trying to run the driver as the user gene, I'm getting this: --------------------------- [root at coyote ups]# su gene -c "/sbin/belkin -D -a myups" Network UPS Tools - Belkin Smart protocol driver 0.21 (2.2.2) debug

Samba 4.11.3, 4.10.11 and 4.9.17 for Centos7/RHEL7
Hi everyone, I've posted some rpm builds of samba 4.11.3, 4.10.11 and 4.9.17 for RHEL/Centos 7.x (currently 7.7). The 4.11 rpms use the python3 and python3-devel rpms introduced in the standard RHEL/Centos repos at the same time as the 7.7 version. Comments and/or testing feedback would be most welcomed. http://nova.polymtl.ca/~coyote/dist/samba/samba-4.11.3

One more try at nut, this time on debian 7.8 (wheezy)
Greetings Charles; I eventually gave up making it work on ubuntu-10.04.4 LTS, and that drive is slowly curling up its toes, so I am running wheezy on a fresher drive now. I have installed all the nut stuffs from the repo, and now have two more scripts in /etc/init.d called nut-client and nut-server. dmesg |grep Belkin - : root at coyote:/etc/nut# dmesg|grep Belkin [ 4.242066] usb 2-3:

Hi everyone, In case anyone's interested, I've posted the rpm builds of samba 4.10.4 that I'm using on RHEL7.7. (I run these in VMs, serving as AD DCs for my SOHO). Comments most welcomed. These rpms use the default python2 from the system. http://nova.polymtl.ca/~coyote/dist/samba/samba-4.10.7 http://nova.polymtl.ca/~coyote/dist/samba/samba-4.9.12 Regards, Vincent

Samba 4.10.8 and 4.9.13 for rhel7/centos7 rpms
Hi everyone, In case anyone's interested, I've posted the rpm builds of samba 4.10.8 that I'm using on RHEL7.7. (I run these in VMs, serving as AD DCs for my SOHO). These rpms use the default python2 from the system. The 4.10.x SPEC file is now more closely aligned with upstream (Fedora SPEC file) and I've yet to test these builds using the system's python3 on RHEL7.

We have an open ticket about that[*]; basically, the official NUT documentation needs to be a bit more explicit

cutting corners (4.10.2 on el7.6)
Hi Garming, Thanks for taking the time to enlighten me. I do happen to have two DC's and in my limited testing, 4.10.2 seems to function properly as an AD/DC on el7.6 with the packages I built. As I'm not using those DC's for file serving in a clustered setup, it is also my interpretation that I can do without ctdb (this one had a specific requirement for a higher version of a

Mechanize: save and cancel doesn''t work in JSPWiki
I''m trying to submit data in JSPWiki (edit page). I can read the data in the form, but nothings get saved when I submit the page. Cancel doesn''t work either. I don''t get any errors. There is no JavaScript used to submit the form. After I''m logged in I do the following: def save(page, content) @agent.get(@base_url + "Edit.jsp?page=#{page}")
