Exporting a samba mount]
Anyone have experience with exporting to other Linux boxes a Windows share mounted on one Linux box? I have successfully mounted the Windows share on the Linux server box, but when I edit /etc/exports to include the new mount and run exportfs, I get error messages regarding the new export. For example, if I add this line to /etc/exports: /mnt/windows_share somebox(rw) I will get the

Filing bug report
Hi, switching from LLVM 3.8.1 to the LLVM Realease 3.9 branch an assertion gets thrown, when I use opt on some program. I build a reproducer according to the bug report guidelines and asked for a user account. How long does it normally take to get this account? Can Samba be installed on Windows 2000
Hello, Can Samba be installed on a Windows 2000 machine (then create a share) so that on the Unix side you can mount the share thats been created (the opposite of installing Samba on Unix and then mapping a drive on a Windows 2000 machine to a Unix share)? I don't need to do this, i was just wondering. ^**********************************************************************^ This email and

Group permissions issue migrating from 2.2.8a to 3.0.23a
Hi, I have a share that worked fine in samba 2.2.8a, users were able to read and write to the share, and edit files. After migrating to 3.0.23a, users are no longer able to edit existing files. Samba 2.2.8a config: [sales] comment = SALES path = /home/netshare/sales read list = @purch, @shipping write list = @adm, @mgt, @sales, @vag, +hap force group =

Xen VM vanishes after creation
Just starting and playing around with Xen on Centos 5. I created a new VM (para-virtualized) with the Virtual Machine Manager, installed Centos 5 minimal on it, rebooted after successful installation. The VM console vanishes on shutdown and that's it. The VM id vanishes from the VM Manager and there's no way to get it back. It looks like the new VM doesn't exist. xm list shows only

Re: regcontext, NoOp extension vanishes when extension reload, WORKING
OK this was an easy one to fix. All I had to do is RTFM. Note on the wiki: ATTENTION: Make sure you take a look at bug report 7144 Just do what Kevin said, include the regcontext in whatever static context you have the priority 2 extension and don't make a static regcontext in extension.conf. Let sip module do the rest. Works great. Thanks Guys. JR On 12/5/06, JR Richardson

Wins registration vanishes
Has anyone seen this yet? I am having a problem with the my WINS entry for my Samba server disappearing from the WINS database. After this takes place I am no longer able to access my Samba server so I am forced to restart NMBD and a new entry is placed in the WINS database. Although over time this entry will vanish again and I have to repeat the restart process. I am aware that I can add a

Legend vanishes when placed outside the graph
Hello everyone, i’ve got a problem with my diagram’s legend. I know i should be able to figure it out by reading the ‘plot’ and ‘legend’ reference. However nothing works so it would be kind if anyone could point me to the necessary parameters. The problem is that i’m moving the legend using the ‘inset’-parameter so it does not overlap with the graph. However it vanishes outside the graph, so

Primary Keys enforcement vanishes in test database
I use this naming convention for primary keys: ActiveRecord::Base.primary_key_prefix_type = :table_name_with_underscore I generate the MySQL test database: rake db:test:prepare, and although the column is there there is no primary key enforcement/index and no autoincrement (so activerecord saves fail). Is this a bug? What is the best workaround? Alan

regcontext, NoOp extension vanishes when extension reload and doesn't come back
Hi All, I just noticed something interesting. When a sip device registers and regcontext is setup in sip.conf, a NoOp priority 1 extension is dynamically created in the dialplan within the specified regcontext. Works great. If for some reason, modification is made to the extension.conf and a >reload extension is performed, those dynamically created extensions in the regcontext vanish. Now
