recycle.conf and TOUCH bug ?
Hi all I’m currently using the recycle VFS module with samba.2.2.8a and think I may have discovered a bug. My recycle.conf lists TOUCH as a required option... mode = KEEP_DIRECTORIES|VERSIONS|TOUCH However, the files (NOT DIRECTORIES) date/times after being moved to the recycle area, as specified my recycle.conf, is NOT modified to the time of deletion... -ip.guy

recycle module creates empty files (0 KB)
Hi, I have a strange behaviour when creating new files. When opening word, excel, ppt or txt to create a new document (e.g. I use the word icon on the desktop to start word) and save the file to the home share H: an empty (0 KB) file with the same name as the saved document is created in the trash folder. Why this second empty file in the trash folder? Going directly to the home share H: and

Recycle Bin disappeared (GNOME, CentOS 5.5, 32 bit)
Probably this is due to operator error, The Recycle Bin in GNOME disappeared, for this CentOS 5.5 (32 bit) Desktop PC. The box is fully updated. Is there a command I can use, or another procedure, to get the Recycle Bin in GNOME working again? The .trash folder is there. Incredibly rare that I use the KDE Desktop, but it is also installed on this box and the Trash folder (like the Recycle Bin

Samba 3.0 Recycle Bin - VFS Module
I recently upgraded to Samba 3.0 beta 1, and may I say, this is a very cool product. Very, very happy with it. Some serious brains gone into making this......! The only problem I really have at present is trying to find literature on how to configure the recycle bin module (audit.so seems to be working well though). The procedure on the 2 series was very straight forward and it worked a

Ghost logons / Recycle Bin Options (related)
Hi all. Long time no write :) Have been looking at recycle bin options using the VFS options. Everything works fine, but I have one question/snag. We use a script that uses smbclient to send a message to a machine to warn them they are low on space. So the user thinks "oh dear" and deletes stuff. Problem is on the quota system its still counted as part of their user space... Is there

samba vfs recycle problem
Hello, VERSIONS tried: 3.0.9 and 3.0.10 Function: Domain Controller Summary: Using the recycle vfs module, files deleted are not "touched" Details: I've set up VFS recycle so that when a user deletes a file it gets moved to the .salvage directory. recycle:touch = yes is set, but the moved (deleted) file still contains the original time stamp when doing an "ls -al".

creating a recycle-bin
Hi all, I''m trying to create a recycle bin for elements from a Sortable. To do that I created an <img> (image of a recycle-bin ofcourse) and made it a Droppable. However what should I do with the element in the onDrop function of the Droppable to stop it from going back into the Sortable? How do I remove it altogether from the page? thanks and regards, Jeroen
