TCP Delayed Ack
Hi.
Is it possible to disable the TCP Delayed Ack?
I would need to do some TCP performance test and it could be very useful
to be able to control this kernel parameter.
Thanks.

Prioritize ACK packets
Guys
I''m a bit rusty and in a hurry, can anyone share with me how to
prioritze TCP/ACK packets on an outgoing interface... I need these
acknowledgements to get through on a congested DSL link...
Thanks in advance!

tftpd resends option ack during transfer
Uploading a >32MB file from a recent curl to tftpd fails because when the
block number rolls back to 0, tftpd transmits the option ack again, instead
of transmitting an acknowledgment for the block received. You don't see this
problem when using the bundled tftp client because it doesn't set any of the
options when uploading a file. Attached is a patch that fixes this, tested

[PATCH 2/2] drm/nv84/therm: ack any pending IRQ at init
From: Martin Peres <martin.peres at labri.fr>
This is safe because ptherm hasn't been configured yet and will be a
little further down the initialization path. Ptherm should be safe
regarding to runtime reconfiguration.

Ack...OpenSSH no longer compatible with SSH 1.2.26 clients?
I just tried, on a whim, to use an OpenSSH client vs SSH 1.2.26 client,
and I can connect with it...
Something drastic change between pre23 and pre24? Then again, I can't get
pre23 to work anymore either, after further investigation :( OpenSSH
clients connect no problem, just not the old SSH 1.2.26 clients ...

Ack...OpenSSH no longer compatible with SSH 1.2.26 clients?
Hi Marc,
I am seeing this exact same problem on OpenSSH-2.5.1p1 compiled on a
PowerPC. The same code compiled for an x86 machine works fine.
Your messages on the list didn't seem to indicate any resolution to this
problem. Have you figured out how to make it work?

Nagle & delayed ACK strike again
This time the problem is that the ssh server only sets TCP_NODELAY for
interactive (tty) sessions or if X11 forwarding is enabled. Neither
of which are true for the use of the sftp subsystem. This hurts
upload performance for sftp/sshfs.
I'm not sure why this hasn't cropped up earlier. Were there any
TCP_NODELAY related changes in the sshd code recently?
Is there a reason not to

No ACK on 200 OK
Hi guys,
My asterisk didn't send ACK for 200 ok message just for one specific
extension.
The ATA used by this extension is used by other extensions, with same
firmware version.
Looking in wireshark, I saw that ATA sent 200ok and asterisk didn't
confirm it with ACK. The ATA did this during 20s, after this, asterisk
hangup the call.
This issue happen only one asterisk start a call.

How does chan_sip match an ACK?
I am trying to debug a SIP issue, between an Asterisk 1.2.32 system that
is behind a network device to which I don't have ready access, which is
performing NAT with possibly some kind of SIP ALG, and an Asterisk 11
system on a public IP.
My question is very specific, and I don't need right now to discuss the
ins and outs of the above setup.
What I am seeing is that when I have set up a
