Chi-Square test and survey results
An organization has asked me to comment on the validity of their
recent all-employee survey. Survey responses, by geographic region,
compared
with the total number of employees in each region, were as follows:

Survey Design / Rake questions
I'm trying to learn how to calibrate/postStratify/rake survey data in
preparation for a large survey effort we're about to embark upon. As a
working example, I have results from a small survey of ~650 respondents,
~90 response fields each. I'm trying to learn how to (properly?) apply
the aforementioned functions.
My data are from a bus on board survey. The expansion in the

AW: recycle under samba-3.0.0beta2-1 - supplement
Denis,
I have checked this and verify that this is a bug. You can track the
progress towards fixing this from https://bugzilla.samba.org as bug #210.
Thanks for the feedback.

[RFC] GitHub Survey - Please review
Hi Chris,
Bear in mind that the more questions we have, the harder it will be to
interpret the results. If we have 20+ questions, it'll be impossible
to understand anything.
Also, the multiple choice questions are meant as a guide to understand
"how many" people fall into one or another category, while the free
text ones are meant to complement and give technical reasons for their

Hi R users,
I request members of the R community to consider filling a short survey
regarding the use of R.
The survey can be found at http://goo.gl/jw1ig
Please accept my apologies for posting here for a non-technical reason.
The data collected will be suitably analyzed and I'll post a link to the
results in the coming weeks.
Thank you all for your interest and for sharing your R usage

GitHub Survey?
Folks,
It's 1st of September, and we don't have the document nor the survey
ready. With the US meeting on 3-4 November, that leaves us only 2
months to do everything, and I'm not sure we'll be able to if we delay
much more.
Being the devil's advocate and hoping this doesn't spiral down
(again), there were a few pertinent questions left unanswered from the

Lohan the observable
Sorry, that name is a misnomer. However, I was excited to find that Ruby
has a built in Observable module and I''m pretty bored, so I apologize in
advance....

include Observable
attr_accessor :name
attr_reader :is
def is=(val)
@is = val
