Double quotes in CDRUserField?
Question: I'm trying to put a double quote into the CDRUserField. What I end up with is a pair of double quotes. Example: exten => s,n,SetCDRUserField(data) exten => s,n,AppendCDRUserField(") exten => s,n,AppendCDRUserField(moredata) My record will look like this: data""moredata What I want is: data"moredata The wiki mentions using a backslash in order to

rsyncd bug for sym-links
I'm 99% sure there is a bug in rsync when running in daemon mode on a 'remote' server. The bug is that when trying to rsync a sym-link, the daemon 'leg' of the code strips off the leading path separator (for linux, this would be a '/'). I have produced a 'fixed' version of the code and we have been using it for at least 6 months. We've also used the

daemon and absolute sym-links
I THINK I've found a bug in rsync. When running an rsync daemon, absolute sym-links are not created correctly on the daemon end; the leading 'slash' is stripped off. To 'fix' this behavior, the following 3 changes can be made (to version 2.5.5): flist.c:63 add: extern int am_daemon; flist.c:538 (was 537) modify: if (sanitize_paths && !am_daemon) { config.h:316

Rsync of filesystems with sym-links to other hosts
HI, I have a scenario where a filesystem i.e /fs13/m6.uecommon.1/wmt8/utils is residing on a fileserver i.e. fs13. Problem with upper case extension names
It seems as if there is a problem if one uses Local/SomeName at some_context in a Dial application. If the extension is changed to somename then things work. I have an extension SomeName defined. In another extension I try to dial this extension and it does not work saying extension/context not found. The extension displayed has uppercase characters so the case is not lost. If I change the

exhaustive-model-search issue results in multi-gigabyte FLAC file
Hi, On a particular input file, FLAC (testing with current git) greatly inflates its output if I encode at level 7, which enables --exhaustive-model-search. The source is a 24-bit WAV file of about 60MB; flac -6 encodes this to a 43MB FLAC file, but flac -7 produces a 9.1GB (!) file. The enormous file does seem to be perfectly valid, FWIW -- it (eventually) decodes to a WAV that's

Sym links to subfolders?
I just installed dovecot 0.99.10.6 and I'm trying to use symlinks for subfolders. I have my mail in ~/Maildir and I want to make symlinks such as from .Sent to ~/Mail/Sent. All of these folders are maildir and the permissions are correct. I've searched the list and I cannot find anything stating that it should not work. In fact I've seen posts that claim it should work. However, it

__stderrp sym unresolved in 4.8 stable
When I try to start X, I get the following. Any help here? I track stable via cvsup, sup'd on 4/29/03, and cvs up the system having problems, which is running FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/lib/libm.so.2: Undefined symbol "__stderrp" objdump -r /usr/lib/libm.so.2 show the symbol __stderrp. max rsa key length, sym. cipher and digest recommendations ?

I want to create a admin vpn network between my servers and my workplace. Network throughput is not a big issue, I am using ssh and the cli, however I would also do
