Patch for events like "On Create", "On Modify"...
Hi all :)
I have spent my night thinking about one problem that my company asked me to solve, and I come to the conclusion that is a little
bit easy to do ( I guess... ).
The problem with the Recycle bin was solved with the patches that Brandon made ( http://www.amherst.edu/~bbstone/howto/samba.html )...the recycle bin is working fine :)
Lets see: The files go to the bin on a kind of "On

Jamey,
There is a previous posting in the speex archives with a link to the dsp c5x

Vedr.: Re: Migration from WindowsNT to Samba
I was thinking of using rsync, since it has the ability of mapping the
written user-name instead of using UID's. Anyone know how this work on
WindowsNT? I've read, that CygWin hasn't the ACL's properly implemented
yet?
Does another "cross-platform" exist, that can map between the written
usernames?

speex on TI C5x fixed-point DSP
Hi Jamey,
Really cool to see Speex being ported to the C55xx and I'd be glad to
integrate the changes required in Speex (and the style's fine with me).
Here are a couple comments on the patch you sent (I looked at it, but
haven't compiled).
1) The changes you made to the pack un unpack functions would only work
if the 16-bit chars are "big endian" (relative to the two bytes

Yet Another Samba question
Hello Samba Guru's
Your last solution was so successfull I though I would try one more
question to throw at you. I am currently running samba-1.9.18p7 on a
Solaris 2.6 Ultra Enterprise 450.
I have the default service to be homes which loads auto_home map from a
Solaris server. Logon works great from Windows95 and WindowsNT Workstation
clients. But when I attempt to login to the samba share

It's not pinin', it's passed on! This library is no more! It has ceased to be!
It's expired and gone to meet its maker! This is a late library! It's a stiff!
Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed it to the perch it
would be pushing up the daisies! It's rung down the curtain and joined the
choir invisible! This is an X-lib!

Hi Gregory,
On the questions.
> Is there a good reason to avoid Samba internal DNS?
No, imo not, but i only use bind9_dlz because i need bind in my lan for other setups also.
I just used my RSAT on my win7 64b, but at my point it works fine.
I do have questions to get a better impression of the setup.
Whats the os your using with RSAT and did u use DOM\Administrator or an other account?

Verified Credible Driving traffic to your website using testimonials
Driving traffic to your website using Verifiedcredible.com testimonials will get you a good amount of traffic. First off many companies are looking for consumers to say good things about their products because it builds their creditability. Next when you find a good product why not say good things about it. It is a win-win for

Hai Mathias,
Type: wbinfo --all-domains
You should see 3 domainnames.
BUILTIN => idmap config *
HOSTNAME => ? Dont know where this one maps to.
NTDOM => idmap config NTDOM
I use for example ( for debian ) the following.
I use this as followed.
## map id's outside to NT domain to tdb files.
idmap config *: backend = tdb
idmap config *: range = 2000-2999

question about ntlm
Hai,
Since im still having problems reading the man smb.conf about the NTLM settings, im asking here.
How do i allow NTLM auth for my proxy.
I have been playing around with :
client NTLMv2 auth
raw NTLMv2 auth
ntlm auth
lanman auth
i’ve added the proxy user to the winbind_privileged group.
and did set the needed rights.
chgrp winbindd_priv
