Hello everyone, I'm new to the list and I hope I'm not repeating something that was already asked for. I had been using the stock kernel that came with Mandrake 8.1 which is kernel 2.4.8-26mdk (not sure what things are applied to a stock 2.4.8) I have my root partition /dev/hda1 on ext3 Mandrake took care of all this, by putting the ext3 module in initrd. I just dl'ed 2.4.13

How to bypass smbfs 2Gb limit without patching ?

segmentation error
I have been using wine for about 18 months now to run quickbooks 6 which it has been doing with better results each month (apart from the glitches with the sound server introduced in the last few months). Automatic printers don't quite work...
I have a new Centos 5.1 system whicn reports samba version samba 3.0.25b-1.el5_1.4 - and have just added a physical printer. Linux doesn't know the printer (Samsung CLP510) so it is installed as "raw" - no driver. When I use a windows box to browse the network - the printer is visible on the C5 server (without me explicitly creating a share)- and I can "connect" it -
