Not to be the annoying child, but I have found myself uniquely annoyed that I can't update RPMs that include Samba 3, and I'm not certain if that's because it's even ready for Mandrake 9.2. Does anyone have a bead on this? Should I just go back to 2.2.8 and wait for the stable, or can someone point out a URL that has a stable 3.0 on it? Thanks Eric

They're a "local group" as far as NT is concerned, and it has two members; myself, and another fellow down the hall. My end quest is to create a share on a Mandrake 9.2 box running Samba 2.2.8, and have it permit or deny file access based on NT's typical discretions.
