I downloaded the rpm files for el4/x86_64 from the CRAN repository and tried to run rpm but it did not go through complaining about dependencies. Do all the listed rpm files need to be installed? With it, if you add OPTIONS="-6" in /etc/sysconfig/sshd (this kind of sysconfig/<name> is a pretty normal RHL practice), then you can enable ipv4 and ipv6 on RHL without problems and without having to modify the init.d/sshd script.
