ts.plot and x axes customization
Dear List, I would be pleased if someone can help me with the following issue: I'm about to plot two time series in one plot via ts.plot which looks like: ts.plot(series1, series2, main=main, xlab=xlab, ylab=ylab, col=c("green", "red", "blue"), lwd=2) The problem is, that R automatically sets the x axes labels in 5-year-intervalls. Migration
Hello all! I'm new to the list. I just upgraded 3 White Box Linux servers (database, application and internet) yesterday to Centos 3.4 using the info in http://centos.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=19. Very easy, and that was a very helpfull document! The decision was based in the speed of updates, really much faster in Centos! Is there a similar way to upgrade a Fedora Core 1 server

MSN Messenger 4.7 vs 5.0
Hi. This is perhaps a little bit off-topic here, but I couldn't find informations elsewhere, so perhaps someone can help me: I've been using Messenger 4.7 for a while on my W2k Laptop to place SIP-Calls via asterisk with messengers "communications service" feature. Works fine. Then I thought that it would be a good idea to do an upgrade to v5.0... (yes, never touch a running

Strange behaviour on Win98
I am currently trying to integrate a Samba v2.2.5 server into an NT domain. I have already succeeded to join the server into the domain and have authentication working (security = DOMAIN), but when I'm trying to access it from a Win98 client, it sometimes says "network name not found", although the server is visible in the "network neighbourhood". Then, after waiting a

But when i try this, the the second instance of liveice is kill instantly. Is this the correct way to stream two differant

improve ipfw rules
>> 3. I'm intrested in blocking kazaa/P2P trafic with IPFW any help in this issue you could possibly block connections at known p2p ports. deny tcp from any to any 6699 step but most of the newer protocols use dynamic ports and in turn, are configurable. so ipfw isn't exactly ideal on it's own for this. -r. -----Original Message----- From: Pons [mailto:pons@gmx.li] Sent:

[LLVMdev] Kaleidoscope-tutorial: Fails to create the JIT
Look at what is in <llvm source root>/examples/Kaleidoscope/toy.cpp. This is the final version of the tutorial and worked the last time I played with 2.6. [LLVMdev] Kaleidoscope-tutorial: Fails to create the JIT
Change your g++ build to: g++ -g -O0 toy-example26.cpp -o toy-example26 `/Users/albert/NoTimeMachine/LLCM_Clang/llvm-trunk/BUILD/Debug/bin/llvm-config --cppflags --ldflags --libs core jit interpreter native` After you get this working, try it with the source interpreter include removed, and minus the above interpreter llvm-config addition. Blocking attacks from a range of IP addresses
I am being attacked by an entire subnet where the first two parts of the IP address remain identical but the last two parts vary sufficiently that it is not caught by fail2ban since the attempts do not meet the cut-off of a certain number of attempts within the given time. Has anyone created a fail2ban filter for this type of attack? As of right now, I have manually banned a range of IP addresses

Vista laptop in Samba 3.3.4 domain suddenly trying to use roaming profiles?
Grettings, all I have a bizarre problem on a laptop in my Samba 3.3.4 domain. This domain includes a mixture of XP Pro and Vista Ultimate clients. I had just completed a migration to this new domain (from a Samba 2.2.8a domain), and all seemed happy and well - machines had rebooted and were still active in the domain, users were logging in with no problem, shares were working perfectly - all
